Isolationism doesnt magically make a Country's currency more valuable just because they claim some other commodity backs it. Not being involved in global trade collapses economies, that's why we use economic sanctions so much. Inflation has been trending down for us, though. I wonder why.

I know you'll define "Deep State" as any aspect of Government you dont agree with. But it doesnt get anymore Deep State than allowing an organization like the Federalist Society to decide for you who you get to appoint to something like the SCOTUS. Firing Comey was just a means to delay criminal indictment, which is playing out now.

Trump got a $225m loan from a single bank, and was also bankrolled by other private financiers. Not to mention the $2.2 TRILLION dollars to bail out Wall Street (which didn't work and just made the rich more rich) while allowing Republicans to bicker about giving Americans a tax credit, or $600 lol

If this was anyone other than Donald Trump, their career would be in massive flames by now. Everybody who has ever tried to hitch their wagon to Trump has had their career wrecked and thrown under the train by the same man who initially sang their praises.

For all his shilling, erratic behavior, (possible) criminal behavior and general lack of decorum for an average person, much less the president, I believe in my heart of hearts that he will win and win handily.

When all is said and done, I would love to have experts analyze what specifically about Trump that has enabled him to be virtually untouchable, particularly among his base supporters. So many people have tried to imitate his style (Desantis, Vivek etc.) but there is only one Trump. This has less to do with the approach, and more to do with the man himself. I personally think he was a terrible president and is a terrible person, but I have to respect him for achieving what he has, including an unmatched support.

Not that you care for an answer but that rule was only for Federally funded medical centers in underserved areas, which were already experiencing high volume and had no means to address the influx of administrative work this would have created for them. Not to mention that those centers are already required to offer services and medicines at discounted prices, the impact of this would have been minimal.

In other words it was a measure passed for optics that wouldnt have actually required any kind of market price reduction for insulin. In other words, something that looks good that greedy pharmaceutical exec's won't mind.
