I think you are correct, we all have to detach and take a step back from the polarization of politics that is being foisted onto us. You have the right perspective, perhaps because you have no direct skin in our political gameshow here in the USA.

We just had a presidential dog and pony show, sorry, I meant a debate, and the entire field was a bunch of bums, but they were all young(er) and infinitely more vibrant than these last 2 geezers. It's kind of a breath of fresh air to see some younger faces in the mix to be in charge, yet the media here is preening and posturing to go full speed ahead with Trump v Biden part deux. All this indictment stuff is meaningless in terms of actual justice being served. Bottom line the media wants Trump around just as much as Trump wants his name in every possible news cycle.

Taking a step back and seeing it from my perspective, the ruling class has gone all in on the 2 geezers and they will have their way, I'm sorry, I meant the American voters will have their way, yada yada yada
