The comments berating Trump, or at least disagreeing, have probably more likes than ones supporting him. I mean the ones coming from people that actually voted for him, not the people that just troll around.

Trump won via being more Independant. It's also the reason the media hated him. If he goes down this path, there is an opening for a more moderate Democrat that wasn't there before.

Ironically, the left (The corporate media, basically) isn't taking advantage, and are beating the drums for pointless intervention and killing more than anybody.

Anyways, could this cause an exodus from the Trump wagon? And because of people's feelings about it, are far lefties starting to figure out that the people who switched from Obama to Trump did so for the right reasons? Or does that require too much thought?

trumps moderate base.................

Trump's base should feel betrayed about the war drums. They were promised an "America first" presidency. You can't spend millions on bombs and missiles for a country then hold up veterans and workers and claim "no one wants to spend on these poor folks!"

trumps moderate base.................
Yeah.. The one idiots like you pretend doesn't exist.

It's not his largest base, but the right and left bases do not decide elections. Everybody on the further right voted for Romney. That's how far that gets you. Run Al Sharpton or somebody running on being gay, and you will find out the size of the left's base. It's moderates that decide elections. It may not be the largest "base," but it's the one that matters.

EDIT: I put "obama" instead of "romney." My bad.

His detractors have been calling him a conman (as in he wouldn't keep his campaign promises) or saying that he lacks principles since he took office. We've seen pretty steady proof of that, and it hasn't swayed his supporters much. I guess this might do it because it's pretty tough to sell this as anything other than a betrayal, but I'm not convinced. Maybe, I guess.

The Blue Collar Dems that voted for him probably don't like this.

Major media outlets, NeoCons and a portion of the Left are pushing this.

CNN & MSNBC should be ashamed at their coverage. FOX sucks but at least the Anti Intervention side is getting a bit of Air Time

Remember these days when certain posters in here talk about how unbiased CNN is

Hopefully that'll make Trump think again. Where's fox and friends with some anti interventionist drivel when you need them.

I doubt he gets reelected if he goes full Bush/Hilary on the middle east again.

ummm yeah no....

if this a sly way of hiding the fact that Trump supporters are starting to have (or have had) buyer's remorse then kudos!... but you aren't fooling anyone.

lefties are still eating popcorn and enjoying this reality tv show called the White House starring Donald Trump!...

Playing war drums is fine, the only problem is if he actually goes through with it.

To an extent, you've got to show Syria that there's a serious risk of intervention if they go out of line. So far, so good, but if they start bombing Syria again and escalate the crisis, it's over. You can toss Trump and his administration in the trash-can if they get bogged down in another useless Middle Eastern conflict, costing billions.

You don't "make America great" by fighting eternal conflicts in the middle of a desert.

The vast majority of democrats didnt liked it when Obama was president and dont like it when Trump is president.

The right has been the main powerbase of the neocons, not even close, Trump was saying spend big in the military and fuck Iran during campaign.

He is the one that brought all the neocons back into relevance too, he is a conman, what did you expected?

Hillary would've brought them back to relevance too.

There was no "pacifist" solution for the Americans. Just two bags of shit.

Trump atleast tried to con people into thinking that he wasn't going in. Hillary didn't even bother.

I am making a prediction right now. Trump is going to be reelected. no matter what.
Unless he gets impeached or resigns because they get to close to his money laundering.

He is riding the post-depression wave. There is simply no way under the current trend that he is going to lose.
I mean with all his faults that guy knows how to give a speech and how to read a room.
He is going to claim the economic prosperity to be his doing. And that will win him the election.
