Trump hires the former solicitor General of Florida (Tice) for $3M
Tice tells Trump to play ball, shut up, and don't piss off the DOJ
Trump tells Tice to STFU because his other lawyers look pretty on T.V.
Trump benches Tice even though Tice got $3M (allegedly in advance)

Brilliant.

<TheDonald>

I bet his donors are happier 'n pigs in shit about how he's spending their money.

If this is true, it kind of means trump is plainly guilty of obstruction of justice.

I don’t think any of this looks good for Trump, whatever he was up to
The question everyone wants answered, I expect, is what was in the ones he personally selected to keep rather than return in this boxing up process? I think it will say a lot about what his intended use for them likely was.

Here's hoping it comes to light during a criminal trial sooner rather than later.

speaking of the grift...

faux news managed to herp that out, all while still crying about hunters mystical laptop at the same time. they are still not over that. i dont think they will ever stop crying.

when one sends out millions of email that is called spam. i would say more then 20 is spam outside of internal business email. so she is suing Google due to RNC sending 22 million emails that Google handled as spam. I'm sure that they are sending them out to people that did not somehow opt in for them so it is the appropriate label here.

i'm curious to know just how grifty and aggressive this round of RNC emails are this time.

well at least this one isnt telling them that they are part of the radical left who have deserted president trump for socialism, all just because they didnt check the box for recurring donations and then throw him some more money on his birthday.

this isnt the first time its happened either

It's really fucking sick, and it's a sad commentary on the state of the USA when it obviously must be working.

How many posters in this thread have a "Gold" card with their name on it.

Trump is the only "Rich" guy I know that constantly begs for people to send him money.

Trump is fat, but his grift game is God Tier.

I heard the Gold Card saves you 20% on your hood and robe purchases.

When I think of Patriots I think of George Washington. Do you think after George Washington power doubled King George he paid some chick who makes gang bang videos 140k or according to Stormy 70k a pump? Patriots don’t pay for pussy, Brother.
Figures you admire someone that had many slaves

FUCK that made me laugh.
It can be "Hey RNC - your SPF is FUCKED"
or
"HEY you guys, ALL fucking email providers have restrictions on the amount of god damn emails that can be sent per hour/day"

but what do you expect from fuck wits who call tech support to print a colour page instead of a black and white one

and if any of there fucking emails look like that one above, I would be fucking PISSED if my emails didnt filter that shit into spam.

I work on this shit, I'd get fucking floored by clients everywhere if there email filters were letting emails looking like that through

fuck me

It's about as close as you can get to replacing "Nigerian Prince" with said political candidate.

cnn has the whole copy of the "filing" here. and i use the term "filing" loosely

https://www.cnn.com/2022/10/04/politics/read-trump-supreme-court-mar-a-lago-documents/index.html

and his attorneys really have a thing for misrepresenting shit. at least this time they made it all the way to the bottom of the first page before starting up with it again. this time they referred to themselves as the Counsel for President Donald J. Trump. i really dont know why they keep doing that and expect to be taken seriously. diaper don and his overinflated ego i guess.

something about that is really strange though and i still cant get over why they do this kind of shit. ya aint the president anymore bud. you don't get to be called officer trump after they take away your badge and kick you out of the police force. you dont get to be called colonel trump anymore after they discharge you from the army. and you dont get to call yourself president trump when you lost the election and there is another president sitting in office, so fuck off with that shit.

Just to clear the record, they do call you Colonel after retirement. Major and above, at least up here in Canuckistan and the UK, are all called by their rank in retirement, even in their dotage. Hence the running gag in the British sitcom "Are You Being Served" where one character insisted on being called Captain Peacock by his subordinates in a department store even though that honour conventionally starts with major--unless of course you're in the navy, where a captain is relatively higher ranking officer and there's no such thing as a major.

Apropos of that, years ago I used to occasionally play bridge with a lovely couple and everyone called the man Major. I'm not sure I can even remember his actual first name because no one ever used it around me that I can recall, not even his wife.

By extension, assuming the same applies in the US, whereas the president is also the Commander in Chief of the US armed forces, makes a certain conceited sense to retain the title. Just sayin'. At the same time, I agree with you that it's weak sauce.

Did you guys catch this one? Apparently Trump's lawyers are getting lawyers to get ahead of this thing.

Trump attorney lawyers up — and says she’s willing to cooperate with DOJ in Mar-a-Lago case: report
Christina Bobb has already retained an attorney and colleagues are urging Evan Corcoran to do the same
"At least one member of former President Donald Trump's legal team has hired her own attorney — and allies are urging another to follow suit, according to The Washington Post.

Trump attorneys Christina Bobb and Evan Corcoran affirmed to the Justice Department that Trump had handed over all classified records from his Mar-a-Lago residence in response to a May subpoena. But prosecutors said their response was "incomplete" after the FBI searched and found more documents at Mar-a-Lago and cited evidence of "obstructive conduct" in response to the subpoena.

Bobb has since hired her own lawyer, Florida-based former prosecutor John Lauro, and "made it known to Trump allies that she is willing to cooperate and be interviewed by the Justice Department," according to the Post. And colleagues have similarly urged Corcoran to hire a criminal defense lawyer because of his response to the subpoena, according to the report, but he has insisted it is not necessary."
