Law Trumps home raided

If it was well known he took and destroyed documents what were they raiding for? DNA samples of destroyed records?

pee tapes bro. pee tapes.

once you've found yourself watching some golden showers over at the hub, you can never get enough. there's a reason why people would attend r. kelly concerts and it wasnt just for his music

I'm a Trump guy since he announced he was running and have always supported him. In the last couple weeks I've been leaning towards DeSantis which I never thought I would. This raid gave me the same reaction you're experiencing.

Which makes me suspicious. Maybe the left wants to run against trump. Maybe they know DeSantis would shred them and this is all a ploy to bolster support for Trump.

This could be the lefts attempt at 4d chess. All this time we think they are attacking him so he won't run. Maybe they're attacking him so he does run and so he wins the primary.
Or maybe it's because they are doing their duty in pursuing an investigation based upon evidence that Trump is a criminal, don't you think? It's hilarious that the default assumption when it comes to Trump is there's no way he's done illegal shit and now his chickens are coming home to roost.

make sure to sprinkle some maga tears on there just to get your daily sodium intake. tastes delicious.
lol

In other news,
First on CNN: Alex Jones' texts have been turned over to the January 6 committee, source says

I can't recall if it was you who commented on my earlier prediction, but my first thought about this raid was that the timing suggests it has to do with those texts.

You may be right about that in some instances, but generally they both seem like two shitty sides of a dogmatic coin to me. Id like more actual transparency from the "good" guys, in this case.

Disagree on this one. Trumpy Republicans p4p worst political party in the western world.

Slavish and morally/intellectually bankrupt.

This is one of those "two things can be true at once" situations. First, it seems like it's true that Trump has been breaking the law by keeping documents he shouldn't have, and this shouldn't be covered for. Second, it would be nice to see 1/20th of the energy from many posters here for calling out the malfeasance of politicians they like. If you twits are asleep or even defensive on issues concerning politicians on your team but go into a feeding Frenzy when it's the Cheeto Benito (thanks for @idrankyourbeer on that one - had me chuckling) then you're probably a partisan hack and your positions aren't worth reading.

Anyway, I will reiterate, I don't think this is a win for the Democrats. This either gives Trump another victim card to play, which he does quite well with, or makes it so he can't run again - in which case you probably have the anemic Dem bas running against the far more competent Desantis. What's the win here?

lol if this was actually the case, then alex jones' texts would be everything that the chuds wish hunters laptop could ever be. the 2022 edition of hillaries emails!

just think for a second what the dems in this thread would be saying if this same thing happened to biden or Obama

Then realize they dont actually care about the legality of this and just want a gotcha on trump and his supporters
You're assuming what just happened to Trump was illegal. Ever think perhaps he deserved it?

Or is it impossible that the guy who tried to overturn an election he lost, who has already been fined $27 million for scamming people, and has 10+ members of his own inner circle already convicted of felonies, actually did something wrong here?

If he broke any serious law then shit happens. If it is political Hack shit then let’s start going after those people. In the bed I’m going to say this is it based on the last six years

Weird Trump was searched right after Alex Jones phone was turned over.
Another thought, the GOP when the last GOP President broke the law, they condemned him. Just goes to show, men of the past we’re not spineless and put America first.
Lastly Mitch’s silence shows me Donny is fucked. He is too politically savvy to be on record virtue signaling how unfair it is a law breaker got searched.
When 8 trillion debt Donny is in court he will mumble Et Tu Mitch.

a criminal investigation approved by the trump appointed director of the fbi was able to get a republican appointed judge to issue them a search warrant for donald trumps residence doesnt exactly scream of political hackery.

To get a federal judge and AG to sign a no-knock warrant on the home of the former President of United States, I'd imagine you must have presented them with some mighty compelling evidence.
