Law Trumps home raided

Because its completely obvious to anyone with more than a couple of functioning brain cells that Trump and his ilk committed a litany of state and federal crimes which only through his abuse of officially office, he has managed to avoid prosecution for. He's a wannabe autocrat and despite his claims, has no interest in putting America first and gives precisely no shits about anyone other than himself and his allies.

He's a pernicious liar and conman. His downfall is necessary and any legal jeopardy he finds himself in due to his corruption ought to be celebrated.

Unfortunately the US has some more problems that won't be resolved be getting rid of Trump, namely the political setup allowing for minority rule, FPTP and 2 party system.

The other factor is the majority of the "conservatives" who are abjectly ignorant and proud, parochial and conspiracy minded.

If you believe that DJT is some proud patriot who offers some kind of hope of a better America, you are simply put as thick as pig shit.
I don't believe he is, nor do I think the current administration is. Thanks for your explanation though.

Assuming that's true, it's hard to imagine the kind of mind it takes to hear this news in this context and ever utter the words deep state again except when shitting on the idea.
Conservatives almost never mean what they say. They believe different rules should apply to different people.

Their ultimate dream surrounding this stuff is to put an innocent enemy behind bars, while a guilty ally of theirs remains free. That will maximize "liberal tears" and give them a vicarious sense of power, which these deplorables are desperate for.

Don’t ever change….

This thread has been really fucking entertaining, super fascinating to see how this plays out. Its kinda wild how much trust the "left" has in intelligence agencies these days, though. I remember when that wasnt the case. Not saying their not acting in good faith here, but in general, why though?

Because TDS

Still must have connections to be invited to speak though. It all ties together somehow.

I guess, but I know you haven’t listened to them

I do love how you mention me about thread topic and when I respond, quickly shift to the WEF, etc.

Rent free in your head buddy, lmaooo

This seems fairly simple:

1) There are laws regarding the handling of official records, including classified material.

2) The FBI has information that Trump has mishandled official records, thereby breaking the law. Hence, the investigation.

Unless you think Trump should be above the law, and I’m certain some posters in reality fall in this category, there is every reason to pursue the investigation to see if the law has been broken.

I let any Sherbro live in my head free of charge, I couldn't bring myself to charge rent to a Sherbro.

We have no idea what was found or what the facts are, as none of that has been made public. This is how you know the GOP response is complete BS as always. they don’t even know what was found or not, but still say it must be political because it is against their mango god.

What we do know is that a duly appointed federal judge found probable cause to issue a search warrant against a former President of the United States, which is a big deal. And we know that issuance of such a warrant often leads to an indictment, because federal search warrants aren’t often issued for no reason.

Their M.O. is really, really, obvious. They think Trump should be above the law and they think their enemies should be locked up arbitrarily. That's all there is to it.

Sounds about right.

It's not faith in the agency in this case...

1. It's faith that Donald Trump doesn't believe rules and laws apply to him.

2. It's faith that the National Archives isn't some political weapon being used against Donald Trump. They just want their documents back.

I don't foresee any criminal indictments after this, but who knows

gonna need this after reading through all the cope

Republicans and Democrats are not two sides of the same coin and equivalents - nor are Trump and Biden.

This is not something where "but both sides" applies as it relates to criminality and danger to democratic institutions.

Def shouldn’t charge rent for a dump like that. it could certainly use some brightening and tidying up. There was even feces (not sure if animal, human, or ???) on the floor

Look buddy, I don't comment on the state of the cleanliness of your place.

What I would like to two things..
Why do the feds know how to crack safes.?
What was the total contents of the safe..?
Wonder if President Trump had Orange makeup in there..

First, we had to watch Republicans turn against democracy.
Now, we get to watch Republicans turn against the law.

They just weren't raised right.

Between this and Roe, 2022 and 2024 are in the bag for Democrats.

The self-immolation is a long time coming but needed for the health of the GoP.

we dont get to know what was found in the safe just yet. you can bet that theyll be keeping this one under wraps until they get an indictment. what we do know is that the fbi had enough evidence to obtain a search warrant from a federal judge on a former presidents residence and knew what they were looking for so its quite plausible that somebody on trumps team had been singing to the feds, and they went in there and seized a couple boxes of documents. but we dont get to know what actually happened or why just yet. but it's definately not going to be any evidence of election fraud they took out of there. that stuff was way too damning to ever make its way into a court of law. they already shipped all of that stuff off to a crackhead pillow salesman to make the case for fraud over at that parking lot of a landscaping store right across the street from the dildo shop. and ain't nobody else in the world ever gonna find any of it.
