Law Trumps home raided

Not exactly a surprise coming from the country that's supporting the nation (Ukraine) that banned political opposition while pretending that their military enemies (Russia) somehow represent an extreme example of corruption.

American First-ism represents a threat to the interests of those who've hijacked America. The last thing they want is for the American people to have a genuine choice in who they vote for.

Still, surprising or not, it's disgusting and the sad thing is the number of Americans who either don't care, or who will repeat dumbass narratives in an attempt to justify this.

But muh Russia

Declassified in the President's mind only or not, the documents are part of the National Archives inventory.

All of the President's correspondence during his term is property of the American people. He doesn't get to take souvenirs just because he wants to.

Period.

Okay. So why wait two years to get it? Why do they need an FBI raid? Why hasnt this been pursued before?

I assure you Trump would be getting in legal trouble regardless of my opinion on the man, because Trump very clearly is breaking the law in many areas. He also very clearly despises his own supporters and is out of power. You're in an abusive relationship and are lowering yourself for no payoff.

Trump would have 0 legal trouble had he not run for president. Nor would he be labeled a racist. He is a threat therefore he's being targeted. And you're attempting to add legitimacy to this farce because the ends justify the means. In other words...a useful idiot

So, what are you even saying?

I'm saying that yes, some people do skirt the system. That is a fact and undeniable. However, we shouldn't be so shocked in our disbelief when the wheels of justice turn, and its beacon focuses on one of the "elites."

Just one though?

And this one in particular right?

Like, they couldn’t have been bothered to actually go after Hillary. Or Epstein, or Maxwell. Or… Cheney?

Just this one.

Yeah. That makes sense.

they hate the "elites" but freak out when their "elite" is in trouble or does something shitty.

Yeah. That makes sense.

They killed Epstein and Maxwell is in Prison.

You're speaking gibberish. The NY AG began investigating Trump University in 2011 and filed a lawsuit against them in 2013 - before Trump ran for president. He was ultimately fined $25 million for this scam. He also was known as a racist for years before he ran for POTUS, because he wouldn't stop lying about the racist birther conspiracy. "You can't believe what my investigators are finding!" Spoiler alert: there were no investigators.

That you allow yourself to be bamboozled by this snake oil salesman while accusing other people of being the useful idiots is really absurd, but projection, of course, is one of the core principles of Trumpism.

It has been pursued the entire time. The raid is the result of non-compliance with requests. In fact, the non-compliance is likely the probable cause to begin with.

What's so hard to understand?

there was also the whole refusing to rent to black people thing that kind of exposed his racial views.

Which indicates 4D chess on President Trumps part, he expected it, prepared for it, and will use it to his advantage, even CNN said that..

According to CNN, they were returned in February, though it doesn't specify if ALL were returned. Hard to say without seeing the actual sealed warrant but clearly the FEDS saw or had reason to believe that a raid was warranted.

The partial compliance can clearly be used as probably cause and if anything justifies things even further.

The National Archive is aware of 100% of the documents in his possession. Even if he returned 99% of the documents, they still know he is withholding the 1%.

What authority does the National Archives have to compel Trump to turn over the documents? My entire point is that the documents could have easily been subpoenaed. If trump doesnt comply, hes in deep shit. Much deeper shit that keeping press clippings.

However, the FBI decided to raid his house on a fishing expedition.
