I’m against trumps nonsense but one thing I will say is this kind of brings more attention to how dependent we are on China. The entire attitude is that China destroys us in a trade war and that we need them more than they need us. Maybe Goatnalds bullshit forces us to address that at some point. I don’t have a solution and I certainly don’t think Trump does but it seems like continuing to rely on chinas slave labor and cheap goods can/will eventually bite us in the ass.

Its an issue america has been dealing with in lots of ways. Trade deals with Vietnam, Cambodia, and other South East Asian countries, other than China, helped develop alternative factories for American goods. Some were more successful than others. I mean the International Development Agency was all about supporting and developing alternative resources, manufacturing, and assembly for american goods.

So having these bumbling idiots run amok for 4 years is just setting us back. Its literally giving the game away to China.
