Economy Trump's April 2nd Tariffs

you're not alone in hoping this drastic action leads to some drastic change in the democratic party. Many of Trumps votes were protest votes at the garbage campaign Biden/Harris ran and whatever Trump does in office is a direct result of Dem complacency/incompetence driving people to vote in protest.

Yes, voting in perpetuity for a party that continually ignores you is a far better option.
Just stop voting 2 party lol.

Thanks for your service biddy but that isn't what I meant and ya know it. We were talking politics. For some reason you think I should have to vote for the democrats no matter what. I'm trying to tell you my vote is to be earned

You lost this election

You need people like me for your candidate to win ....so by all means keep talking that good shit and don't make any changes and maybe we can have this conversation again soon

You are deliberately chosing to not understand what I'm saying to you even though ive been quite clear. I don't owe you or the dnc anything.
I'm trying to figure out why Hitler, your words, didn't need to earn your vote but Harris did. Can you explain that?

We lost a cost of living election. Kamala ran well to the middle compared to Biden in 20 who beat Trump by a wider margin than Trump beat Kamala. I'm a Michigan voter too and while we both have to suffer under Trump at least I didn't enable it. You say you want national healthcare but you voted for Donald Trump lol. Sounds like you are able to compromise and vote for candidates that don't support all of your views, it just so happens you only hold one party to that standard.

You're right the Republicans don't support national Healthcare. They do support the second ammendment though...know who else doesn't support national Healthcare...the current democratic party. Might as well vote to preserve my rights if the democrats aren't offering anything that makes putting them at risk worth it.

Til it's a corner stone of whoever gets the nomination next , I'm not coming back.

It's the Democrats fault that Trump is starting a trade war? He could just not do that right? Although at this point the damage might be done.

I'm calling him Hitler because that's what I've seen so many lefties call them. I'm just using their language.

He didn't need to earn my vote because I wasn't voting for him I was voting on sending a message to the democrats that if you don't change course I won't support you any longer.

Believe me I wanted anyone but Trump to win that primary.

To me this isn't about Trump or even any republican policy. This is about not liking where the democrats are at and demanding a change of course.

And its a long time coming. This started for me with Obama and him punting on healthcare instead of fighting to get it done

Then there was the screwing over of Bernie and forcing me to vote Hillary which I did even though I hated it

Then we screw Bernie again and make me vote for Biden which I did

Then they played weekend at Bernie with Biden and skipped a very needed primary to force Harris on me and that was fuckin the straw that broke the camals back

No more bullshit weak ass democrats that are just republican light. Be fdr or I'm not on board.
This is baffling. You claim to want national Healthcare and instead of voting for the party that made some progress toward it you voted for the party that actively opposes it.

I love the Olympic level of mental gymnastics to avoid accountability in here. Genuinely hilarious.

You'll vote against your own interest to send a message but not stand up for your interests to do the same? The 2 party system at its finest lol

You want the entire political apparatus to capitulate to the two things you care about. Sadly that's not how voting works. Enjoy the recession you voted for.

But you... don't need to send this message to the Republicans?

Correct. I don't expect the Republicans to do anything for me and my hope is in the democrats....but if I keep voting for them in their current form they aren't going to do it either. I think the dnc needs to be destroyed to be rebuilt into who they should be and in order to do that they need to lose badly and be in the woods for a while.

Wow, these countries are willing to really fuck their own economies in order to avoid FAIR trade with the United States

Yea it only works that way for you guys and me voting for what you want.

Again

The democrats just took an ass whippin....perhaps it's them who needs to change

The Republicans took a bigger ass whippin in 20 and not only did they not change they doubled down and you rewarded them. Doesn't seem to send the message that losing parties need to moderate, does it?
