and the whitehouse is mad pissed. they want the culties to believe that trumpy wumpy can do no wrong. they want to treat them like they are stupid. they don't want them to know that the tarriffs are in fact being passed down to them, the consumer, and they will be paying more for all of their goods.

here's the whitehouse sock puppet doing her best to spin for the maga muppets:

Are you surprised this admin finds transparency "hostile"?

Bezos and Amazon should just shut up, kneel, and kiss the ring.

displaying the cost in very simple terms like this is the only way a bunch of toothless 7th grade dropouts are ever going to understand that they're being fucked in the ass for no reason

indeed. The Dems are far too stupid to have thought of this, it could only come from the desperate self-interest of a corporation trying to protect its brand identity

Republicans against price transparency. Definitely a solid move by the companies to list it as a line item.

I don't think these were the high priority items America voted him in to do (even if I do appreciate the paper straw pushback. Fuck those things)

Border Security.

And, yeah, that's about all.

This guy won't be the subject of any threads comparing his achievements to FDR and Teddy, to say the least. He's Inverse Rushmore material, though.

Lol Amazon actually doing something smart.

This press barbie would make North korea proud
I'm surprised any retailer would consider this (at least accurately showing it), since that gives you an idea of margins and to a lesser extent item cost. No one wants that information out where your competition can see it.

Trump called Bezos and Amazon already caved

Here in Brazil is common to have the value of taxes paid on the total value of products at the end of the invoice. The value is an approximation and sometimes is split in federal and state taxes.

I predict other companies will follow suit.

Jesus Christ.
The only hostile action is the Trump admin forcing citizens to pay more for goods.
