George W Bush should not be forgotten!!!!!
He is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, yet he lives as a free man, with untold wealth. There are some very serious lessons to be learned, by the sinners who voted for him, and for the media that gives him a pass.
 
I don't think Trump will be easily or quickly forgotten, but not because there is anything good about him.

Then again, it's the internet age so it's possible, but the mess he's making and his corruption and criminality are quite historic.
 
I dont think so. GW was a bad president for metrics of the time.

But I dont think people thought he was wicked, deranged, malicious or hated Americans. He was essentially a status quo republican hawk. The country got behind him after 9-11 and his biggest failing was the 2008 recession.

Trump is completely unique in American history. He was a reality star with extremely questionable morality. He was/is a felon, a rapist. He's repeatedly shat over the constitution, Americans, American institutions. Praised dictators, overwhelmingly served his own wealth, peddling shit from the white house and for the first time in history used the executive office to seemingly usher in fascist authoritarianism.

Historians and economist are already outspoken about how unprecedented his presidency has been.

If we get out of this shit storm, hopefully we can look back at this as a bizarre chapter in US history and not forget.

His cult followers will disavow him of course. As they did their support for bush /war etc.
