For the 1000th time, the prosecutor was corrupt, refused to investigate corruption, and had shelved the case into Burisma's CEO. Getting rid of this prosecutor, amid a change in government smack in the middle of an anti corruption push in the Ukraine, was the official position of the US.

Yet fucking again, the new prosecutors opened the case open before adjudicating it and closing it again.

On the other hand, the president is getting impeached for threatening the withholding of aid to Ukraine, asking them for a favor in investigating Biden, instead of through legal channels in the USA. He admitted to it openly, and now China is added to the list for the same thing.

Trump-Hill is a shitty one to die on.

Joe Biden played the part that many VPs play, which is to shut the fuck up, and be called upon for some ego stroke to be made to feel like they're doing their part. That was Biden in a nutshell.

Yet, these Trump guys have turned Biden being thrown a bone by Obama into an international criminal conspiracy by Biden. LOL

There was no quid pro quo. Your democratic leadership says as much. So will you stop saying that? Everyone has moved on. They are trying to find new reasons to impeach.

And China he said they SHOULD. Which I think they should. And the prez has every right to ask them to. I hope he does. As long as their is no quid pro quo, which would be illegal.

Oh, the democratic leadership is saying there is no quid pro quo? Man, you just love making shit up, muddying the waters with horseshit at every turn.

Soliciting a foreign government for information to help in an election is illegal.

Trump asked that the investigation be reopened. He has every right to do that.

They declined, and they got their funds.

No quid pro quo. And yes, everyone on both sides accept that.

Can you tell me what they are impeaching for? Pelosi was all over the place about why. The leadership doesn’t know what to do.

She said she won’t hold a vote bc republicans are scarred of that vote. Yet republicans are calling for that vote.

You should be worried. They dicked this all up. Again.

It’s interesting to see how easily Trump’s talking points have gotten through to his supporters. Basically he’s tried to tactics, first the whole “no quid pro quo” thing, which backfired horribly. When he released his recap where he kept the explicit reference to investigation in exchange for investigating his likely opponent, it forced the investigation, the investigation will, and may have already, contradicted that claim. That goalpost will start to shift in the next few days if it hasn’t already.

The second tactic, and the one that might work, is to cloud supporters thoughts with whataboutism, and calling democrats names. Basically he’s trying to create an atmosphere where enough of the Republican Party is comfortable just ignoring Trump’s actions here. That worked after Sandy Hook, similar campaign, but I’m not sure he can win re-election if implicated clearly in this, even if the republicans won’t allow him to be removed from office.

He sucks on spending. He sucks on making a deal with the Democrats on Immigration. He sucks on prescription drugs and not getting a deal done. He sucks on healthcare. But, for him not to suck he needs the Democrats to want to do something for the nation too and they are not doing their jobs because they lost an election.
