I won't defend how you perceive that I turned out, but my parents did an outstanding job. In fact my mother taught me not to worry about the opinions of others. So.....

As for my children:
My eldest is a war vet and has a successful career. My step daughter overcame dyslexia to currently be enrolled in college studying to become a teacher - because she wants to help disadvantaged kids. And my twins regularly volunteer at our local food bank, have SAT scores in the top 5% nationally, are currently finishing their Eagle Scout project, and will be attending a Tier 1 college next fall.

Turns out that Obama signed the contract and Trump offered the rooms at discount rates of $87/night. So excuse me for waiting to see if Trump is or isn't; as he claims, making money off of it.

You were pretending Mitch did not break precedent when he did. The POTUS puts forth a SCOTUS candidate and the Senate calls a vote, full stop. That is the only precedent. Mitch saying 'NO' was a first. Mitch saying YES he will do so now, is proof even Mitch does not believe what he did to Obama was based on established precedent he had to follow.

So just be smarter.

Obama signed the contract but he isn't the one directing flights there. Has it been fully investigated, didn't the WH refuse to turn over the documents, and they relied on someone in the administration stating how many flights landed there?

The main problem I have with this administration is their stonewalling. There's no transparency with them refusing to hand over documents and not allowing appointees to testify. I'm sorry but the Mueller investigation was not a witch hunt, it exposed many inappropriate contacts between the Russians and people in Trump's orbit, as well as their schemes interfering in the election. Not to mention the instances of obstruction of justice. So no, there is no legitimate reason for him to shrug off oversight, and it's a real concern as he's becoming more brazen in his corruption.
