Trump-Ukraine Megathread v5 is 'crazy,' & 'frightening'

@Amerikuracana you know the best info on Biden and Ukraine would be news articles from back in 2015 when no one expected Joe to run for office. It will be hard to find a liberal cover up seeing as Trump wasn’t even considered a R front runner at the time.

I’ll save you the time because I’ve read the news stories and they all say the same thing. No one was investigating Hunter and Biden was sent there in part because the Ukrainian prosecutor would not work with British money laundering unit who was investigation Burisma guy at the center of this investigation and the prosecutor allowed that guy to funnel $23m from the U.K. to banks in Cyprus.
@Amerikuracana does care about that.

Fact is what Biden did put the cash cow his son went to work at, at risk. Burisma was safe and cozy with that Prosecutor in charge.

He'll come back with 'but, but, Hunter got paid a lot, so Joe is corrupt'.

You are acting like I didn't understand that the allegation was attempting to damage the Biden campaign? That was day one. Did you think this was special knowledge? It just isn't there in a serious enough way to warrant this enormous waste of time. The conflict of interest involving White house staff having children taken care of by foreign governments as political favors is just obviously 10x worse.
If you belief that then fine. That is a topic for another thread. But no it should not be said in defense of Trump as you keep doing as he, first and foremost THEN needs to lead by example before pointing the finger at others. Get HIS house in order and push out all the gross nepotism and clean up all the use of his properties and other swampy stuff that he is doing to benefit Trump Inc.

What he cannot do is use the weight of the State and its agencies to only point at Biden and once he is no longer the top Dem contender then do the same to Warren or Bernie or whoever else he can find gov't files on.

You know, that if Biden left tomorrow and Bernie was on top and Trump found files about Bernie's being instigated by Hoover over his support of socialism that you would be a useful idiot to Trump and start saying 'well that does look bad, so Bernie is corrupt and needs to be investigated'.

Stupid people do not understand why this was one of the biggest concerns of the Framers and why Noxon was going to be impeached and was vilified for doing.

This administration is like a dumpster fire rolling down the steep hills of San Francisco being piloted by a bunch of drunken, brain-damaged simians, that are furiously masturbating with flaming cheese graters.

You just can't look away from the spectacle and you know it hurts them to do it...

Had to put this up.

I apologize if this was already discussed ad nauseum.

Whistleblower doesn't want to testify?

Will submit written answers???

Dems are a bunch of fucking frauds. <Dany07><Dany07><Dany07>

I’m not condoning the behavior but some times you get oddballs on the board of companies because they are looking for a diversified group make up or they feel having the son of a VP and potential friend to the newly elected Democratic leader in Hillary Clinton (remember this was 2015) might benefit them down the road especially with Russia annexation of Crimea. In no way does it mean there was a current P4P going on or something nefarious. I’m sure Hunter used his name to get connections. I see this so often in business, small upstarts with hook their name to a global giant in the hopes of looking legitimate. They’ll overpay for X services knowing full well they are going to use that connection to their benefit.
Yup, Burisma might have been looking for some US allies and advocates to put on their Board hoping it MIGHT get them some favorable treatment or a friendly ear in the future. Pretty much the reason every lobbyist gets a job.

It does not mean they end up getting any better treatment. It does not mean it works out. And in Burisma's case it DID NOT work out. Years later Joe carried out the will of the Senate REPUBLICANS and Dems and the WH and delivered a message anyway that the prosecutor must go and corruption must end. Something that put Burisma in a WORSE position AFTER than they were with the status quo.

I don't think I would define it as corrupt, necessarily. I think it is likely a more serious conflict of interest than what your partisan side is getting frantic over.

It seems a bit hypocritical for the people against any sort of minimum wage/wage controls/manipulating of corporate pay structures to care about what a private company pays a private citizen, while also not batting an eye at Trump's family members serving in actual governmental positions where they further their own interests, or Giuliani's son working in the white house making 100k a year... with a B.A. in Marketing & Sociology... lol

its also not like Hunter was some High School drop out who used to work at Arby's, the guy has a J.D. from Yale. His educational background wouldn't excuse impropriety (if any is actually proven and not just assumed), but it's completely idiotic to suggest the guy doesn't have the credentials/education of someone warranting a high salary.

But no where near as bad as the Kushner stuff right?

You have to say a Son in Law and Top White House employee doing his personal business on the side and getting over $1B is a much bigger deal right?

We all know there is a reason why most such gov't top officials put their private businesses in a Trust away from their personal interest and yet no one in Trumps family has done that and are nakedly promoting their own businesses at the same meetings they are dong US official business.

Not a Kushner fan.

You would think that the "piece of shit" and "dog turd" descriptions in my previous posts were enough to get the point across.

Thanks for bringing one of your stupid, unfunny memes into this thread though.
You’re upset because I called you out correctly for being a meme. You’re a walking living meme. Go try to level up MR NPC

Uhh...We know the identity of the President.

We don't know the identity of the Whistleblower.

These two are not comparable.

Try again, dumbass.<puh-lease75>

(holy shit, @bobgeese , the Stupid is strong in this one)

Wow you were absolutely destroyed here and then you call on a poster worse than you to come rescue you. Bro; that’s a beta ass move.

Hypocrites always get called out by people smarter than them. Remember that

Good enough for innocent Trump during Mueller, right?

The sad thing is that you are smarter than to fall for this BS move by Trump. We all know why he wants to know the identity. So he can destroy this persons character before he/she has a chance to testify, so that Republicans who get the chance to question the witness don’t ask questions that get to the truth, they just want to create enough plausible bias that the witness becomes ineffective and give a sign to whomever else wants to come forward to think twice before ruining their lives.

If you are truly after facts then the identity of the message doesn’t matter as long as what that person says is corroborated.
