Crime Trump to send the U.S. army into Portland, Oregon

I don't think he thought through demanding redistricting in Texas and Gavin saying "two can play at that game". He's trying to pull everything he can for there not to be an election in 2026 because he knows as it stands the GOP are fucked.
He's not the one thinking things through. That's the job for everyone under him. Trump is the kind of guy that runs things via dictate; he doesn't know how any of this shit works, and intends to keep it that way.

He's on my last flippin nerve. I only have a landline so my step dad in England can call me in case of an emergency when I'm asleep with my mobile on silent, the amount of calls about Prop 50 are driving me nuts. I already voted yes, ffs.

Before everyone tells me to fuck off back to England again, I adore this country and know we're not going to be in these dire straits forever but I have a feeling my friends and family are laughing at me behind my back. We are a literal world wide laughing stock. Our enemies think we're stupid and our allies are doing everything to distance themselves from us. The biggest thing I get laughed at over is that his moron MAGA muppets don't understand that we're paying for these tariffs as consumers.
I am a huge collector of records. One of my favorite bands Breath's new record Brahman comes out Friday and they released preorders today for the record via Argonauta Records out of the EU. Before the tariffs that Trump implemented I used to pay the most was $40 from Argonauta Records to the US but now it is now joke at least $70 just for one record. Not to mention I have about 6 records that are on hold because many labels in the EU have stopped shipping to the US over tariff uncertainties. Never had this problem at all in my entire life till Trump decided to be a buffoon with all these f'n tariffs

Have you noticed with vinyl recently it has "made in Mexico" on it? I haven't noticed it before but buy a lot of used vinyl as opposed to brand new. Husband bought me Yungblud (another topic for a different conversation) and it had it on there and people who bought Swift's new album saw it as well. Wonder if it has something to do with the current climate.

I bought a NIN bar light the other day which was $39, kicked myself for not buying it when it was $20.

Yep, there are signs that more vinyl-record manufacturing (and related supply-chain activity) is occurring in Mexico lately because all I've read up it is cheaper to produce there. https://www.conectiv-scs.com/vinyl-solutions/ <--- this company has a pressing plant in Guadalajara, Mexico and can press 40 million records annually. It takes usually 3-5 days to get records shipped to the US via Mexico compared to 30-45 days if done overseas. I'm in a Stoner Doom Metal band A World Divided and we released our debut record The Cosmic Nod in June. We want to get our record pressed but are holding off due to how much it cost to get them pressed (Gotta buy in bulk and that ain't cheap).

Oh, my brother got us tickets to see NIN in Charlotte next year at the Spectrum Center. Going to be the fourth time seeing em and we were going to get floor seats but holy shit it was $220 per ticket and we both said nope. Ended up getting seats in the 103 section.

I had tickets to see NIN in LA and had to sell them. Pussycats are terrible travellers and I can't leave them on their own or with anyone else. It was a shame because it was the day of the abum launch so it would have been really neat. I saw the tickets go on sale for next year but don't know what's going to happen between now and then. Probably a last minute decision and get an Air BnB. I miss live music! Last was U2 at Sphere in Vegas which was literal life changing, not just because of them who I've seen before....just the event and venue. Seeing them was just half of the experience.
