Trump/Sessions coming for your state-legal doobies

. I can't imagine what his issue is with cannabis. His high school sweetheart probably dumped him for a pothead or something. lol
It's never personal, just bu$iness... The gov't will legalize when they and their corporate cronies figure out how to control and extract all the money from the cannabis industry

Looks like Donny Flip Flop when running for election said he was cool with weed. Just like banning Obama care and locking up Hillary, the career liar, AKA Daddy only gave a small million dollar loan, once again caught lying.
Pro tip: If Donny Small Hands lips are moving he is fucking lying or stuffing it with a Filet O Fish.

I've always liked the weed issue as a jumping off point for getting people to think more seriously about state vs. federal authority.

Anyone who believes in "law and order" as the POTUS said he did has no moral obligation but to support the federal government in enforcing federal law. It's especially true for anyone who had a problem with Barry O. using executive orders to impact prosecutorial focus during his term. It's triply true for anyone who argues that the fed should crack down on sanctuary cities because those cities are acting in a way that contravenes federal immigration law.

People have to take foundational positions on this subject. Do you want the fed to brightline enforce federal policy and bring the states to heel? Or do you want the fed to relax its enforcement of these things and let the states chart their own course?

But the weird space where the fed strongly restricts state action sometimes and not others can't continue.
Can't expect to get states to comply with federal immigration law and let them 'run amok' on other issues.

Now is the time for any citizen of the US to call, and mail their representatives and nicely tell them to push to legalize on the federal level, anything else is NOT legalized period

I really like what Trump is doing to the country. Even on stuff i disagree with he is really making the liberal states participate in promoting federalism. We are seeing a tremendous amount of liberal dollars and lawsuits promoting an idea they have been very dismissive of for the past few decades.

What happened to letting the states decide?

Republicans believe that states have the right to restrict your individual rights (you know like being owned by another person, being forcefully segregated, state having control over a woman's uterus, preventing you from marrying someone based on gender, etc). They don't believe that the states have the right to strengthen your individual rights unless of course it involves guns.
