"The US Department of Justice admits that it has so far released less than one percent of the Epstein investigation, reports The Guardian.
In a letter to the court, Attorney General Pam Bondi writes that 12,285 documents totaling 125,575 pages have been released so far, even though the department was legally required to release the lion's share of the investigation by December 19.
"More than two million documents potentially covered by the law are currently in various stages of review," Bondi writes."
She adds that 400 lawyers, supported by 100 analysts from the FBI, are currently working on the documents.
