Social Trump Retweets Video With Man Chanting White Power

You can’t paint this is a good light no matter how you try.

This was part of Biden’s effort to smear desegregation. His Lily White kids going to school with Black kids == a racial jungle. It’s super clear racism.

He would then go on to fight desegregation tooth and nail, even teaming with segregationist congressmen to write a bill that would prevent schools from losing federal funding if they fought desegregation, and trying to get other democrats in on his effort.

His record on this, and crime in the black community is abhorrent, far worse than anything Trump has “done to Black people”.

These are facts, not my opinion.
Facts are lies, feelings are new truth.

Its this or Biden?

What's wrong with Biden? He has tons of experience at the highest levels and did OK in all those jobs.

You're the one STILL not getting it , that was not a time for equivocation , he should have just condemned the white supremacists , he botched the entire situation.

He did condem the white supremacists explicitly. He was talking about people on both sides of the statue issue.

Here's the Presidents exact words form that event:

"Excuse me, they didn’t put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides. You had people in that group – excuse me, excuse me, I saw the same pictures you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.”

After another question at that press conference, Trump became even more explicit:

“I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.”

As you can see, the President explicitly condemned white supremacists and neo-nazis. To the extent that you don't think that's the case, is the extent the media manipulated you into believing a narrative.

Will you admit that the media narrative put forward about the "fine people" hoax (the claim that the President praised people he explicitly didn't) was false?

One is the potus and leader of the free world one is not. Doesn't mean its ok of the professor to do what she did but I think there is a bit of difference. You can be against both you know...

the other is a professor with influence over impressionable young dumb students

Thats fine, but dont you think the potus and leader of the free world should be held to a certain standard?

so what should be the standard for the professor who has great influence over young minds ?

Remember, you're talking to someone who thinks his buddy saying "I dislike Asian men" is okay.

So hes defending the people that like ROBERT E LEE??

Saying they should be condemned isn't condemning them , the videos and pictures I saw didn't show " good " people , they showed a bunch of racists carrying torches .

Trump wasn't desperately trying not to alienate the racist part of his base .

To me it looks like the guy saying White Power isn't being series. He was getting screamed at and called a Nazi and a racist by a bunch of lunatics and appeared to be mocking them. The interaction is at the start of this video.

@M3t4tr0n why don't you embed the video in the OP? The link you posted is broken.

@M3t4tr0n OP is taken out of context (of course) and isn't what he thinks it means.

I got the impression that the guy in the cart was being sarcastic. At the beginning, people were yelling at him and then the one anti-Trump guy eventually said "Where's your white hood? Where's your white hood? Raaacist, raaacist!" So the cart-driver was like eff it and said "You got it! White Power!"

What's funny to me is that the anti-Trumper who was basically calling the cart-driver a KKK member sounded deflated when the cart driver gave no fucks and went along with it, lol.

If the guy was trolling/being sarcastic, then whatever. If he was agreeing that he really was a racist, then fuck him.

In the end, I think Trump shouldn't have retweeted this video. Not a good thing to do in this political climate where people are so damn sensitive to race-related matters.

lol you think disliking Asian men is okay. Spare us.

If a person can get promoted to professor at Cambridge University for saying white lives don’t matter and liking a tweet saying white people need to be purged from society the president should be able to retweet some jag off yelling white power.
Right!

To be honest, "but the Cambridge Professor" or "Biden said or wrote something racist back in the day" is a weird defence for the current President effectively tweeting "White Power".

I see a few usual suspects, quite wisely avoiding directly discussing the topic at hand; but your abject surrender is duly noted.

Do you think the president should agree with people yelling "white power"?

why not .. there’s a whole movement (backed by every company, every tv station IN THE FKN WORLD) going on that’s yelling and demanding for the dismantlement of anything white

where’s your post calling that out ?

what’s good for the goose is good for the gander .. you can’t be ok with this blm bs and then get outraged over this .. over a freakin retweet

Doesn't the entire democratic party support racial discrimination against people with yellow skin? You have no grounds to virtue signal about racism.
