Trump firing Comey would be news. Some Dem speculating on Trump firing Comey, that she claims to have heard on Capital Hill, but oddly enough can't source it, is not news.

I don't think Trump even needs to fire him at this point. With all dirt coming out about Muellers team, Fushion GPS, the Obama admin, the Hillary/Comey/email investigation it looks as though this whole thing is falling apart.

Our political climate is full of bubbles where information, bullshit or otherwise, gets strewn about to those looking for red meat. I fear that you are in the smallest bubble at this point, but it's only mildly more full of than the larger ones. Unfortunately, because of groupthink, the bigger bubble by nature usually wins out, public opinion etc...

If you really think what's playing out is "an investigation falling apart", I think you're in for a rude awakening when this is still going on deep into 2019 with increasing volumes of acute revelations regarding ties to the administration.

For the record, I don't mind them investigating all that other stuff you mentioned. It shouldn't be used as a smoke screen to divert attention away from Trump's involvement. Point is, Trump won't fire him because Trump can't fire him. Mueller has about as good a reputation as any public servant in the country has or ever will have.

The interesting thing to take away from these past 2 pages is the absolute insistence Trump won't fire Mueller from the right. Which is their tactic of deflecting because they know it would be a big deal if he did it. At least we know they know. I think Trumps softening everyone up to fire Mueller at some point.

I also find it convenient how it's the same group of posters all posted in succession with the same narrative. 'You all ate up mainstream lies/rumors'. It's almost as if they got it from somewhere, or organized.
