You should look up Ken Star ( the second prosecutor to look into whitewater after the first found nothing) he was very open about his dislike of Clinton which wasn't even that bad as he still had to find evidence , an investigator or prosecutor I'm sure often doesn't like who they are investigating, as long as they follow proper protocols who cares ?

Ken Star jumped from investigating whitewater to Vince Foster to Monica Lewinsky now imagine if you will Mueller finds nothing on Russia then investigates the rape accusation and then ends up on a shady land deal , imagine the shit storm from the same Republicans who were all for impeaching Clinton.

4. Firing Mueller would be an obstruction of justice, and it would seriously help the Democratic chances of flipping the House and/or Senate in 2018.

It would not be obstruction of justice as Trump has plenty of legitimate reasons to do so. How it effects him politically I'm not sure. But it would probably be better than to continue having this swamp rat stealing his emails, leaking fake information to the MSM, and building a fake case against him.

So the underlying story of the Transition Team emails is they didn't read the TOS they agreed to when opening accounts on it. But the bigger story is Trump put in a Reagan Admin fixer/cleaner named Beckler, he was a lawyer before his appointment at the Guiliani Law Firm, and helped clean-up Ollie North Iran Contra mess back in the day for Reagan. Anyways this guy is put into the GSA and has an agreement with Trump Admin that should he get any requests from Mueller that he send all the emails to the Admin first so they can "clean them" of any Executive Privilege correspondences, then they'd send them back to the GSA and Beckler and that batch would be sent to Mueller. Problem being Beckler died. And Trump didn't replace him, so a 30 year career GSA employee has been acting director for 4-5 months now.

There was no legal basis for the agreement between Trump Admin and Beckler. Acting director didn't break any laws, in actuality he followed them. Trump team was acting on the belief that the emails from the Transition team period would have been "fixed" and thus very well could have been lying their asses off to Mueller all along - which is why there is the epic freak out right now.

Once that special investigation begins to show progress, charging several of the President -elect's key campaign officials and transition personnel, loyalists to the president, with the help of State media (FOX NEWS) begin calling for the head of the investigation to be fired, citing bias and conflict of interest. Despite this man's sterling record of service to his country ( Former head of the FBI, decorated Vietnam War veteran), the state media and the president's allies begin attacking his character, and calling for his removal. This is due to a key FBI agent in the investigation referring to the president as a "douche', and "idiot"... both of which appear to be objectively accurate by any measure.
