This has 'morning & afternoon cable news story' written all over it. Just a few people suggesting it, just like a few last April were calling on Sotomayor to step down. No one substantial.

Even if Sotomayor were to agree to step down, and that's doubtful unless she gets a substantial bribe, there's no chance Biden would pick Kamala after she fucked him over.

Just look at the shit-eating grin on his face yesterday. He couldn't be happier she lost, when he believes he would have won if he hadn't been forced out.

And looking at the current senate balance the Democrats have a very slight majority at 51-49.
Every Democrat senator would have to agree, and there's always a few stragglers. If there's an even 50-50 split... guess who has the deciding vote?
