Don’t let Trump’s supporters off the hook.

I was not aware of that. Scratch my "extreme" comment from my previous post. What exactly is the argument against them having an election? Zelensky canceled their elections and named himself dictator with the excuse that they were at war. If the war ends, why in the flying fuck would they still not have elections?
I'm saying that all I've heard so far is what Putin wants. This story has just been reported. It was on Fox News too. So not like this story is some left wing blog.
Lol, seems like only yesterday you tards were pretending we had to launder hundreds of billions of dollars through Zelensky to "defend democracy", and are now clutching your pearls at the thought of even having elections and not just making him dictator for life.

Everyone with half a brain knew the extent of trump’s “negotiations” was to give Putin everything he wants and then claim victory like some hero.
Zelenskyy's term ended last year, but he cancelled the election. If he refuses to hold elections, he's a dictator. This isn't a controversial issue.
100 percent. Erdogan didn’t come out in support of Ukraine out of the kindness of his heart. Russia has had its eyes set on Istanbul since Tsarist times. They have too...
Or they're next.
No, Ukraine kicked out the Russian puppet, so Putin had to invade in order to loot the place.Fair deal. The US installed a puppet government to kick things off in 2014, now Russia gets to install their own puppet to end it.
Nobody is taking ALL of Ukraine. Russia will get a few territories that are probably filled with Russians anyways.I'm not worried about this at all. No matter what Trump says, Ukraine (and the E.U.) have to agree to it. Also, does anyone actually think that Ukraine will just say "Well, Russia has 4 oblasts, so we'll just GIVE them all of Ukraine, even though we've held them at a standstill for the past 3 years."

I think the number 1 concession is not forking over hundreds of billions of money for a conflict you, hog, says admit Russia will keep territories and won’t be in NATO.
Perhaps also save hundreds of thousands of lives, stop potential spreading of conflict, etc.
The ultimate concession will be when Europe refuses to increase their military spending in the wake of all this, proving the narrative that we need to do this to stop Russia from rolling through to the Atlantic Ocean, created by warmongers, was perhaps the stupidest narrative every created, and anyone buying into it is a complete Moran
Also, the only reason they've held them at a mere standstill is because of the ridiculous amount of aid they've received. Time's up on that, so now what? It's either WW3, or...Ukraine has to concede some shit or be left to fight without hundreds of billions of dollars every other month.
This is a deal. What concessions are you looking for? Ukraine is now the Holy Land or some shit? If Western nations wanted them to continue as is, they'd give them more help than merely using them as a money laundering operation.
The election thing could be considered a bit extreme, but aside from that, what were you expecting? Without NATO actually helping them out and putting boots on the ground, this was always the end game, because Ukraine can't win the war on their own. They're not negotiating from a place of strength. The bill came due. They have to negotiate, and they will certainly get the short end of the stick. Should've been done a long time ago, if the only plan was to just give them billions of dollars and weapons every other month to maintain a stalemate. That tap was always gonna eventually run dry, and Ukraine was always going to eventually be in this situation. It is what it is.

Seriously, this is real world shit, and not some videogame where you can turn cheat codes on and have Ukraine smash Russia. The rubber will meet the road eventually. Without actually fending off Russia with a real military initiative from Ukraine's allies, what did you picture the end result being?
The US hasn't given "hundreds of billions."
They gave 65.9 billion in military aid - much of which were are old weapons in storage. It's literally on the official government website. Then about 40 billion in non miltary aid.
Parts of it definitely will be. Do you think all Ukrainians are dyed in wool Ukrainian, like they're fanatical Muslims clinging onto to some Holy Land or some shit? A good portion of them are sympathetic and have allegiances to Russia. It's pretty complex stuff, military man. It's not as simple as "Good vs Evil".Oh NO It's real world?! And here I was thinking that it was a game of Starcraft!
You're failing to realize that Russia isn't anywhere even CLOSE to the hard part yet, which is the occupation of a hostile nation. Russia doesn't have the troops for that. No way. Do you REALLY think that Ukraine will just be... OK with all they've endured under the invaders?
The territories Russia has taken were pro Russia prior to the war and they still are.Oh NO It's real world?! And here I was thinking that it was a game of Starcraft!

Come on man... Wake up and smell the Horton's.
