That's also impressive learning the C/C++ and getting the different systems to work functionally together. Almost sounds like a PS5 now lol. Some hackers use PS5's jailbroke along with digital currency mining. Is slackware the flavor of Linux you used along with RedHat? I don't recall hearing slackware. Also why didn't you stick with that ?I used to also work a regular job for EMC and was one of their first employees and when they were bringing more engineers they decided to move to Sun Microsystems Unix boxes as the new engineers where trained on that for circuit board design. I was assigned the task to make PC look like Unix boxes by setting up Slackware on a single pc and then configure 24 PCs with X windows running on windows. I was given that task as I had the most experience using Linux in my area. They could learn how to work with shell scripting and launching applications within X Windows. I had a lot of Unix experience and C/C++ programming experience been years since that time. I have 4 Sun 4000 enterprise boxes in my basement whenever I feel the need to laugh at my past.
