This is amazing

They couldn't even get anyone to sit behind him....
It’s dark but I picture the babies blind folded and standing against a brick wall with a cigarette dangling from their lips. What do you think he meant?
Also, what do you think he means by telling people that in 6 states people are allowed to execute babies after birth?

Trump Falsely Claims, ‘You’re Allowed to Execute the Baby’ in Six States
Former President Donald Trump falsely claimed that some Democratic states allow people to "execute" babies.www.mediaite.com

You guys are the only ones who think about that.He was talking about one black dude in particular
He meant what he said. There wasn't anything behind it. You guys are itching to pin something racist on Trump. You got Tom Arnold's N-word tape yet? What do you think he meant?
Two thingsYou guys are the only ones who think about that.

The part that is underlined is the part people are struggling with- Trump is singling Byron Donalds out when he calls him smart with the following sentence. He's singling him out from a group of people, saying you would not expect someone smart to come from that group of people. Which group of people is he referring to? Republicans? Floridians? Black people? Politicians in general? Men?“Look at who we have,” Trump said. “Byron, stand up, please, superstar of the future. He’s already a superstar, but a superstar of the future. Byron Donalds, Florida. Wow, it’s nice to have you here.
“That’s good. He’s great. He knows exactly what I’m talking about. That one is smart. You have smart ones and then ones that aren’t quite so good.”
A good “one”. What does ‘one’ mean in this instance? He meant what he said
Two things
1 There is a specific part of the quote that needs clarity. Replying "He meant what he said" isn't good enough. Here's is the quote

2 There was another question in my post I directed at you that you did not answer. What is meant by the killing of babies after birth?
If Byron Daniels was not a black person, neither of you would think that was bad for Trump to say. You want so bad to connect him to anything racist, but continue to fail.A good “one”. What does ‘one’ mean in this instance?

we’re getting closer and closer to him just straight up saying the word. maybe he's saving it for the debate.
Ok dude, you can think what you want about what I think, I won't speak for @DoctorTacoIf Byron Daniels was not a black person, neither of you would think that was bad for Trump to say. You want so bad to connect him to anything racist, but continue to fail.
I’m not gonna put words in his mouth but what was he even saying when he said that? What group was he comparing him to?If Byron Daniels was not a black person, neither of you would think that was bad for Trump to say. You want so bad to connect him to anything racist, but continue to fail.
I’d ask the same question. What does he mean by that?If Byron Daniels was not a black person, neither of you would think that was bad for Trump to say. You want so bad to connect him to anything racist, but continue to fail.
He has officially ducked the question and bowed out of the discussionI’d ask the same question. What does he mean by that?
Can you answer?
He has officially ducked the question and bowed out of the discussion
For the folks on the sidelines here's a recap
A point I have made in other threads is that Donald Trump needs to do a much better job with providing clear messages. When he leaves things to interpretation like this, it isn't doing him any favors. It's already been implied on several occasions that Trump is a virulent racist, he ought to do a better job at clarifying his messages if that is not the case. When he also says stuff like how the country is being poisoned by non English speakers, he's only adding fuel to the fire.
- Trump made comments singling out Byron Daniels, saying that one is smart. Others quite not so good (paraphrased- the actual quote has been posted here multiple times)
- @Confucamus immediately ran defense and said "he doesn't mean to say anything offensive to black people like you guys are suggesting"
- @DoctorTaco and I took him to task to tell us what he thinks Trump meant
- @Confucamus insists Trump doesn't mean anything bad about black people like we think. He still hasn't told us what he thinks Trump meant
- If @Confucamus is in fact so convinced Trump is not talking about black people, he must know what Trump meant. By not answering the question, he's tacitly admitting he doesn't actually know what Trump meant with that quote.
- I never actually said Trump was referring to black people- meaning @Confucamus was actually the one who interpreted it that way immediately
Translation- you don't know what he meant, but you will defend him at all costs.Holy TDS meltdown. I don't need to explain what he meant. It's right there on video. The only reason we're talking about it is because you want so badly to paint it as Trump saying something racist. I didn't interpret it that way, but it's so painfully obvious that's why it was brought up here. Don't take it personally.
How did you interpret it?I didn't interpret it that way
