Yes, in that extended CNBC clip. He clearly says there were bad people on both sides but also fine people.

As he clearly says, there are people who were not neo-Nazis and white supremacists there, that were peacefully demonstrating not to change the name of a park and remove a statue as it is apart of their heritage.

Just like there were fine people there demonstrating to remove them because they do find stuff named after and statues of Robert E Lee offensive. They were not the Antifa, or left wing-agitators that were there, just like there were also right wing agitators, neo-Nazis, etc.
