The way I read it is that he has many favorite parts, but the one most important right now is that very quote. An interesting choice, when that's what Christ advised against in personal matters, even if it was the law of Israel. Then again he is not talking about personal matters but those of the state.

I'd imagine lots of "hahahahahah he shits on Christ" commentary is imminent.
