Opinion Trump and the UFC - Neutral Take...

Kaepernic - stunning and brave.
Twitter censoring Hunter laptop and banning Trump - stunning and brave.
Trump on the UFC with Elon Musk - Faaassscissssmmm
Yeh, it was weird for the left to be like "oh, I thought the right didn't want politics in sport"

Fuck, you guys made that the game by such a ridiculous margin and forcing it through. Now it's here to a disgusting extent, you don't want anyone else to play the game. Fuck off

That's just fascism.

Oh, no its OK for us to do this for years and years and years, you do it back once and we'll try and shame you.

Fuck off with that deceitful argument

The far left really are a disgusting cancer and the worst exponents of everything they try and criticise everyone else for.

Fascist as fuck.

What's funny is that I don't particularly like Trump, yet I don't have any issue with the UFC giving him the Taylor Swift at the Superbowl treatment. Frankly, the fact that he's a UFC "fan" makes him more endearing to me and is one of his few (very few) redeeming qualities. Hell, lots of unsavory people are UFC fans. Kadyrov comes to mind.

This Kaepernik comparison is false equivalency, imo. The whole knee thing was a decision by the athlete and team, and as I recall, the NFL didn't explicitly endorse it. In fact, they changed the rules to require standing, with the option of waiting in the locker room. In order for your tenuous NFL analogy to work here, you would need someone like a Roger Goodell to take a knee right there by Kaepernik's side. We all know that would never fucking happen.

It amuses me how the self anointed geniuses "smarter than everyone else" on the far left don't realise this exact attitude is a large part of the reason they lose these elections :D

Yes the cultural elitism for sure has been rubbing lots of folks wrong for some time. I must say though, it's hard not to question the intellect of millions of people who believe in made up "issues" like migrant crime and election fraud. This is also the same demographic that eschews things like climate science, renewable energy, and conservationism.

It's also about messaging. The right is much better at it. Kamala's platform was, "I'm not him", and that's just not enough. Trump's platform is aimed largely at immigration, and not surprisingly, you start talking about mass deportation, and the middle of the country gets all fired up and frothy. It's red meat to them, and Trump knows how to push those buttons. He also tapped into evangelical demo, which is interesting because I never considered him to be a religious person.

I mean, could not be the same 1:1 ratio, but:

My point was the left raves about it when it's their policies, but rages when it's the other side. If you start this whole culture wars, don't complain when the other side fires back.

Is there no way America can agree in general to stop being so retarded so the rest of us don't have to look at your politicians at our karate events?

What's actually sad is that you are an angry, malcontent person who acts belligerently in a forum to others and thinks, somehow, that it's a question of "us against them!" and that you won, and the others are salty idiots.

You actually think that way, as an adult. And it is truly pathetic.
Anybody who voted Kanmala truly is an idiot though

Truly an historic and inspiring moment for not just America but also our brothers of the North, the brave Canadan people! Our Eternal Champion and newly re-elected Great Leader Donald Trump, after having just achieved glorious victory in the election, was showing unmatched courage by attending this UFC 309 spectacle!

what happens when a thread is unwanted in the heavies and then unwanted into the location it moved into? Wasteland, this is the lowest of quality threads, do mods not agree?

Why should the UFC care about the fighters feelings as far as politics go? This makes no sense.

I wasn’t a fan of Trump and I. Fact I voted for Biden regretfully. I hated the dude

But as corny as it sounds this all changed after he was shot at in Pn. Also I admired him for his work ethic display.

He can go where ever he wants. you can be as politically sensitive as you want to be but to me Trump was visiting his friend Dana White and enjoying a big night of fights.

I don’t really feel comfortable with Musk and Trump hanging out in the same place all the time. Once in a while is fine but not to a predictable level no
Good OPSEC instincts you have there, friend.

Dana gave a pretty good and neutral breakdown

He's absolutely right. This election really did seem to be a resounding rejection of the left and wokeism in general. The majority of the country doesn't want to deal with that shit and the left screwed themselves by going all in on it.

They didn't want it

But the left complain now it's here and not only the things they agree with?

Are you so fucking dense you have to see your boogeyman "left" strawman everywhere to feel a sense of purpose in life?

I am not a liberal, I did not vote or endorse Kamala, and what I am criticizing would apply to any politician across the political spectrum, including Kamala, or Karl Marx himself.

Better than stupid and more stupid.

Again, can you post the thread you started during BLM to complain about how political the NBA and NFL had gotten?

You've been here since 2002, so I'm sure you made one because you aren't a partisan.

I know you ignored me last time I asked, but I figured I'd ask again since you said you're not just cherry picking which posts to respond to.

You are living in a cartoon and answering to a strawman.

When did I endorse any of the things you mentioned, or called the UFC with Musk fascist?

You are answering a boogeyman that exists in your imagination because you've been so sadly brainwashed you translate everything into your polarization left vs right and try to make it about that. It's not.
