Economy Trump’s Tax Proposals Would Cost a Staggering $10.5 Trillion

Saying a tax cut "costs" x amount of dollars is ridiculous nonsense. That would be the same thing as saying we will make billions of dollars if we take it from whomever... In the most abstract sense it could be viewed that way but only if one is willing to be a partisan dolt...
But it does cost money. Just because revenue goes down does not mean expenses go down. The way to make up for the lost revenue is debt (inflationary) plus interest on said debt.

The issue i see is more with the headlines couching these proposals as "costs" as if taking money is a right and we deserve to tax everything because it's ours... That's a dangerous mentality to promote imo...

But by definition it is a cost via lost revenue... And just because taxes are reduced doesn't mean we won't be financially impacted by other means. Hell in the case of Trump's tax cuts he offset them by reducing deductions available.

And as a dick move Trump made individual tax cuts temporary while corporate tax cuts were permanent. I don't know if the reduced deductions were temporary as well. But it would be really shitty if they were not.

guys the elections over, you can all go home. No way Trump is winning, not a chance. Quasimodo predicted this.

His tax cuts would cost 10.5 trillion? So to avoid that hefty price tag we'll raise everybody's taxes?

Wow...you are just as fucking stupid as I thought you were, filthybliss.

Yeah, when you spend more money than you have, you tend to go into something called "debt". I assume you must be in a lot of debt regarding your Only Fans Subscriptions considering that you don't understand that concept....

And just like that, Democrats care about deficit spending again. Amazing.
What letter was after the last President to have a balanced budget.
Deficit Donny, cut taxes on his fellow Elites and increased spending, and when he did it, I said on this board that was fucking dumb, and guess what after watching Donny bang Trillion dollar deficits a year, Pre-Covid I was right.
Fox News used to run a deficit counter, when Obama was President, and magically dropped it when Trump was President, because they did not want Rubes like you to stop repeating the laughable idea that the GOP cares about deficits. Facts dont care about your feellings, but you keep believing the GOP cares about the deficit, because its cute.

And we could zero out foreign aid and not even notice a budget impact.
Yeah, in the grand scheme of things, it is just a drop in the military budget. But it is weird that MAGats clutch pearls over "funding wars" and "intervening in foreign affairs" when Trump is one of the biggest culprits of those things.

Military budget
How much of the military? because cutting the DOD entirely would result in $7.4 trillions over 10 years.

We only have $3.1 trillion to go and it only took for America and key allies to be completely defenseless.

, entitlements, government salaries to start

I said specifics, which entitlements, salaries of which areas of government?
