"Give me the god damn page!" is one of the all-time great, but underrepresented Arnold lines.

If we're talking action movies--which is what I've really been focusing on--then I've actually hit a wall in terms of coming up with new stuff. That is, at least in terms of the really popular stuff I missed. I'm sure there are plenty of less popular films that we could come up with.

In your watching of older action flicks, you should keep an eye out for the evolution of the Hollywood neck snap that is now so prevalent in movies (I swear, it seems if a movie has serious physical confrontations, at least one guy gets his neck twisted & snapped.). I know it was happening in the early 1980s, I'll take a wild guess and say it bled over from 1970s kung fu movies and all their crazy fight scenes.

Funny you bring that up, I was actually thinking about this not too long ago. I very clearly remember the days when action heroes were snapping necks like it wasn't no thing, and it always meant instant death for anyone they did it too.

Can't remember the last time I saw it done, though. It's been quite a while.

Really? Imo, it is even more frequent now. It is even happening in non action flicks and in tv shows - compounded by a 110lb woman doing it with a chin grab & twist that wouldn't even get penalized in a kids' wrestling match.

I really can't say I've noticed it in any recent films.

I remember back in the day Van Damme would get guys in an RNC and then--crack!--the dude falls down. But yeah, if it's been happening in recent films then I just don't even notice it anymore.
 
my mom took me to see this in the theaters and we got there late i remember and i think we started the movie when arnold was harassing that douche guy hitting on his wife

anyways, watching this in the theater as a kid was epic

No love for Death Wish? Charles Bronson is awesome in those movies. The first movie is relatively grounded and pretty well done, a good watch if you like revenge flicks. Death Wish 3 is fucking hilarious and ridiculously over the top.

It's funny how the series changes; in the first movie Bronson's character is in shock after he kills for the first time, in the third movie he's literally standing in the middle of a street mowing down street punks with an M16 assault rifle lol

I dunno what it is, but that disgusting, gritty 70s look is just very off putting to me. The 70s always seem like the very worst decade to be alive.

Bruce Lee did it first, iirc. Enter the Dragon. It might've even been Jackie Chan's neck he snapped, lol
 



I always wanted to know how the ending scene was made. Cameron is a masterful director.
 
This is definitely a movie I've always wanted to see a sequel to. But only if Cameron returns to write and direct. I think it could fit perfectly in this day and age, especially with the whole cast being much older. I can imagine some pretty cool scenarios. I doubt it'll ever happen but I'll always keep my hopes up.
 
We seen this one in theaters when it was new. Shadow you need to watch Stone Cold for sure, great 90's action movie from the class of '91 GOAT year.

True Lies was good. Can't say it is up there with the other Arnold movies but it was good. I actually liked the 6th Day and End of Days, I'd say those were the end of Arnold's prime, didn't care for Collateral Damage either.
 
Classic.

Tom Ar old had a hilarious story on some late night talk show. Basically, for the scene where the X-ray is showing both him and Ah-nold walking together is really an X-ray shot and they need to minimize the amount of clothes they wore for the shot. They had to strip down to their undergarments, and he said Arnold, obviously, had no issue and basically walked around the set in a pair of speedos while smoking cigars.

Cameron promised Tom he wouldn't have to wear speedos, but after several takes it wasn't working and that's what was going to happen. So he had to shoot the scene literally walking side by side with Arnold Schwarzenegger while they were both in speedos. I can't even imagine.

Those are both films he made since leaving his political career behind. Neither are great, but both I think are solid enough watches. Sabotage in particular I feel deserves more credit than it gets.

Also Santa Clause is great x mas movie of 90's.
