Can't believe this movie still hasn't come out on blu-ray.

I was just reading about that last night. WTF? That doesn't make any sense.

Apparently the Abyss is just now getting a Blu-Ray release this year so it must be a Cameron thing.

Also had Eliza Dushku as his daughter in it, a few years before she became a full blown hottie

Hnnnggggg dat Jamie Lee Curtis scene.

But yeah, that was the last good film Arnold made IMO, with the exception of End of Days.

I wouldn't say the last GOOD one.

I thought Sabotage was good and Jingle All the Way is fun to watch during Christmas. The Last Stand is probably a little underrated as well.

It's definitely his last exceptional film, though.

I didn't really have a problem with it. There are two main stories here: the terrorist story and the story about Arnold's relationship with Curtis. We go into both individually and then merge them at the end. No problem.

Yeah it's a pretty standard B story to the A-story and very well done. I didn't pay attention as a kid, I was kinda surprised based on the type of film when I first found out she was nominated for best supporting Actress. But she definitely deserved the nomination.

I didn't realize she got an Oscar nom for this. I agree it's warranted, though.

Yeah it's only surprising because of the type of Movie/Arnold movie. But she was great. A lot of people say she should've got it and probably didn't because of the type of movie it was.

You're right. Jingle All The Way is the GOAT 1990s Christmas film; I'm not sure why I forgot about that. I didn't see the other two you mentioned though.

I used to wait til my parents went to bed and whacked it to Jamie Lee Curtis dancing on rewind over and over on my 13" TV/VCR.

I think I'd have to say the GOAT is Home Alone. But Jingle is a fun watch.

Those are both films he made since leaving his political career behind. Neither are great, but both I think are solid enough watches. Sabotage in particular I feel deserves more credit than it gets.

Oh man and how could I forget and no mention yet of bill paxton. Fuckin amazing as always as the sleazy salesman.

Yeah Paxton was great. "Ass like a 10 year old boy!". Funny that back in '94 that was a huge compliment, nowadays you get slapped for that shit

How did you feel about end of days?

How did you feel about end of days?

I'd give it the stamp of NOT BAD. I definitely thought it was better than the other action films that he made right around that time: Eraser, Collateral Damage and The 6th Day.

I haven't seen it in years though. I probably need to rewatch that one to give a proper opinion.

This movie gave no fucks in a lot of ways and I loved that about it. Cameron wasn't giving a shit about being PC.

I think she did pick up the Golden Globe, would have to check though. But '94 was a crazy year, had Forrest Gump, Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption so I'm sure she had tough competition too

Which one is the clone film? I just saw that a few years ago and was pleasantly surprised with it. I thought the script was pretty good and that the film wasn't bad.

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of The 6th Day:

that film is also awesome. The Sixth Day is the name of it.

Man, even as a 14 year old I remember walking out of the theater being like, "Yeah, that really wasn't very good. . ."

You also dont like the 6th day. Your sherdog account needs to be ERASED. Damn, such a good catch phrase.
