Trudeau's government is fighting veteran's groups in court right now, and he said it's because they want more than Ottawa can give. But Ottawa is giving how many millions to the Clinton Foundation? How many billions of our money is he giving to other countries to supposedly help them reach their climate change targets? What about the $150 million extra a year he gives to CBC? Our government spends like a drunken sailor but can't take care of the men and women of our military. It's not like the Harper administration had a good record on this same issue, but Trudeau is just full of crap. As usual.
I'm not one of those who is critical of Trudeau's government for the Khadr payment, that unfortunately had to be done. But he doesn't have to throw all our money to foreign countries to build his legacy, or increase the bloated budget of our corrupt state broadcaster, when our vets at home aren't taken care of.
Reasonable, but frankly you have to assess vet assistance on its own (are the services and monetary support what they should be or are they lacking?) rather than just list a bunch of programs you don’t like and say “the vets the should get it”. Maybe Canadians want more $ into the CBC and climate change? We have to stand by our vets but voters are also allowed to have other priorities.
