I have a collection of trophies from my competitve lifting days along with others from football, wrestling and track. I also have medals from wrestling and olympic lifting and actually prefer them to trophies--they dont break, easy to display, easy to transport, etc, etc. But anway I have tried many, many times to fix the broken lifting trophies and two of my football trophies to no avail. Its always the little man at the top or one of the plates on the loaded barbell that breaks. I have tried super glue, krazy glue, mighty putty, duct tape, plastic of paris, epoxy, playdough, and nothing works. I was having lunch this past week and heard two mothers discussing how to fix one of their kids cheerleading trophies and the first one said--just use a hot glue gun. I came home today and got our my wifes hot glue gun (she has several as she is a craft-a-holic) and figured what the heck, knowing it would not work, but it worked and it worked instantly. It took me less than 15 minutes to fix all of my broke trophies and so I thought I would pass this little tip along
