In the end, Dana will do whatever Trump tells him to do. If Trump wants Jones on the card, then Jones will be on the card. Simple as that.

Barring that, I doubt Dana would book Jones for such a pivotal event.
 
Whose bloated super HW corpse are they going to drag out there for Jones to play with? Is Shane Carwin still alive? Tim Sylvia probably needs the pay day to put a 3in lift and rims on his mobility scooter.
 
Not exactly a controversial take. If it suits the UFC when the times comes then of course Jones would be considered. Isn't that just common sense?
 
Jon does have a lot going for him. He's a big name. A Trump supporter and American.

Dana probably does not want to open that can of worms if possible. Trying to get Jon to fight Tom. The possibility of Jon pulling out from now until the event is plausible. Maybe another failed drug test. You just never know with a guy like Jon Jones

Admittedly it's going to be funny if Jon is able to negotiate another fight and it isn't Tom. Dana is going to have to work overtime to change the narrative. Probably will use some of his previous tactics. Get Tom to fight somebody as close as possible to the event or maybe hope he gets injured in the meantime

I think it will go both ways: (1) Dana will cave and Jones will get BOOKED for the White House card (assuming it ever happens); (2) he will do something stupid to get kicked off the card and won't actually fight on it.
