Fulton has been pretty open about his racism, there are a few threads here that go into detail on that. He hasn't committed any hate crimes to my knowledge, so there's that at least.

In regards to the domestic assault charges, the article states he is accused of "repeatedly punching a woman in the head and back in Waterloo and threatening to kill her if she talked to police". That sounds pretty inexcusable to me, not sure why you think that should be glossed over just because he did something worse afterward.

So here’s something interesting (and something that I think is fucked up)—and I say this with absolutely no experience in federal court, but depending on how many images he had—he’s going to get royally fucked.

See, that isn’t the fucked up part. The fucked up part is each individual image he has is another count—with severe punishments. Again not fucked up in a vacuum, it’s child porn, but roll with me.

It gets fucked up because often times guy who possess child porn end up getting harsher sentences because of this rule than the people actively creating/partaking in/distributing child pornography.

No sympathy for this scum bag. Had none before I heard these charges. But isn’t that kinda fucked up? Maybe just me.
