Trash Talking - Good or Bad? If you don't like it, please tell me why?

I like it. Trash talk has to be backed up though. One bad by-product of the added pressure it brings to the fighter(s) is fear the of losing becomes greater, thus leading to fights that leave a lot to be desired. Real disdain makes for a good, hard nosed scrap.

I agree that guys who can't handle the pressure should not trash talk. Those guys who set themselves up to fight to 'not lose' should find a different motivator. It is super annoying when that happens.

It's great, though, like I think you were saying, when guys can handle the pressure and they try to actually do what they say they are going to do. Win or lose, at least it adds interest and excitement.
