It really depends on how aggressive Reem is.

If he comes out guns blazing, Brock's going to shoot, pronto.

But, if he keeps his back to the fense and keeps his feet mobile, i can see him using his physical strength to creat enough space to strike from a clinched position and make Brock back off.

Brock is primarily a bull rusher. I think the one fight where he looked half way comfortable in the stand up was against 46 year old, 220 lbs Randy. Any other fight, he does whatever he can to get it to the ground.

And standing with the likes of Reem, there is no way Brock doesn't spam takedown attempts.

the guy is a beast and he trains with two former NCAA Div 1 HW wrestling champions. at one point, some dude said that he got knee'd near his right shoulder by reem and he felt that his rib broke or some shit.

reem is nasty in the clinch. being there is not a position that brock wants to be in.

I think Cain is clearly the better fighter, but i think Brock could have done a tad better in their affair had he just calmed the fuck down and not tried to overwhlem someone a lot faster and about as strong as he.

Brock needs space, and so does Overeem, so i think Alistair's power shots will be met with Brock giving him a little breathing room.

Are you basing this on the beating he took from Cain to the exclusion of all his other fights? Because that's fucking stupid. Ubereem is well known for gassing early, and gassing hard. If Brock can fight through the initial beating, he has a solid shot at ending it in the 2nd. That said, I think the horsemeat eater takes it, but to write Brock off is stupid, considering Overeem historically has shit cardio.
