Saw this on tv today. Seems like his/her parents were dying for a "youtube sensation" story/1 million likes on facebook situation when I saw the clips.

It showed "her" on tv as I think an 11 year old texting a boy that was interested in her and his texts to "her" were something like "so you have the body of a girl but do you have a penis?" To me that's disturbing that the parents are allowing a kid that age to talk about shit like that.

I wasn't talking about moderate exercise, I'm talking about obsessive parents who failed themselves at achieveing sport greatness, and who are now trying to vicariously live through their kids. Trainig them every day for several hours, getting them obsessed, yelling, screaming and cursing from the sidelines.
Then again, maybe American Football dads aren't as bad as European soccer dads are. My point was, never force a kid into extremes, no matter what, and attempting to show that we are all forcing our kids a certain way, but that some avenues are less hazardous than others. As stated, I fell indoctrinating your kid to be something that you as a parant wanted/ want it to be, is wrong, regardless.

I think the most offensive part is that an 11 year old is texting period.
 
And society pretends to be outraged when tweens and teens give head and have sex with older people.
 
This is just some strange publicity thing. Can you imagine your 11 y/o son send this girl a text asking if she likes Justin Bieber music and she's like "I am a girl trapped in a boys body. Watch the creepy youtube video my parents made about me to see if we can be friends."

While I'm a bit skeptical that an 11 year old boy would text "I accept you for who you are," it's understandable that kids at that age aren't quite as mean. They're portraying this boy as having a happy childhood, which every parent wants for their kids. When all his classmates hit puberty, though, and the girls get catty and the boys turn into mini alpha males, his life is going to get miserable quick.

The whole situation was a con job. You'd have to be an idiot to believe otherwise. We'll see the boy/girl down the road suing the parents for psychological and bodily harm.

Can you imagine your 1 year old correcting you when you call them a boy and insist they're a girl? The whole thing is a con job. An interviewer really needs to ask some tough questions but I doubt that will happen for fear of looking intolerant towards LGBT.
 
These parents are fucking terrible people and the whole family is a wreck because of them.

Now this poor boy is fucked for life.
 
I have nothing against gender reassignment, but 11 years old is dreadful.
