From the beginning one of the biggest issues with gender identity is how it gives more access for bad people to be in spaces that they do not belong. People who want to victimize others just identify as trans and you magically get invited in.

I imagine there is a variety of opinions on what public roles should a trans person have, what institutions should be able to discriminate towards a trans individual, at what age should kids or teenagers find out about them, what counts as passing as a woman...
