Making my first and last post just to say that @Ares Black has to be one of the most delusional people I have ever seen online. Between opposing proven science on almost every early page of this thread, without concrete arguments but making cutting remarks towards contributers, and having at least a 100 comments on the Ian Garry wife thread defending her with nonsensical arguments as if she owns you lol, this man stands for everything wrong w society today.
i understand people will have opposing opinions but you just come off as someone w 1) Too much time on their hands and 2) Someone who blindly believes MSM.

While I happen to disagree with Ares Black's position on many of these issues, his posts are typically quite respectful.

We cannot hate those we disagree with. It is also hubristic to assume that on any issue that you are right, and someone else is wrong. History is written by the winners.

Yeah it's really sad and what's saddest of all is they make them think that their life is going to magically be better once they transition.

What they don't tell them is that all these left wing activists are just blowing smoke up their asses. They lie to their faces by telling them that they are now going to be a real woman after they take hormones and get surgeries but the liars know they will never be a real woman. The proof is that you'll never see a straight left wing male activist enter into a relationship with a trans woman because they know they aren't a real woman.

What's saddest of all is they're trying to force society to lie to these people and sucker them into this weird life where they aren't respected as a man or a woman. They just become a fetish or enter into a gay relationship, which they could have done anyway without all the mutilation and lies.

Trans people easily have the worst PR of any marginalized group. Just the fucking worst. You can see her brain breaking trying not to say the wrong thing. Often, people supportive of trans people don't want to say publicly (and privately at times too) what is obvious in a situation like this, which is that men can't get pregnant but some trans men can because they're female. But it's just the truth. Anyone who has made a bad argument that they had to bend their brain to try to make sense of (myself included) can see it in the way she and some other trans activists talk, you can see them reflexively trying to keep the logic train on the tracks.

I get it - they don't want to be labeled a certain way and I'm sure there's often times a genuine desire to not want to hurt someone's feelings. And hey, I'm sure there's plenty I don't know and it's still evolving but I know bad and internally contradicting statements/arguments when I see them, especially having made them myself. I think the problem is that instead of acknowledging that trans people are different and that not everyone that feels a certain way is a certain way and that's it's complex to navigate, some want to pretend that isn't the case and instead make the claim otherwise in order to be inclusive and not step on anyone's toes, instead of acknowledging there's differences and nuance and just saying that that's okay. It's internally contradicting to say otherwise because if a trans person just is "X", then the prefix "trans" is unnecessary and it's essentially trans-erasure.

It's a more complex topic than hardline liberals or conservatives make it out to be and our knowledge and understanding of the phenomena is still growing and evolving. It's not so clear cut as gay rights, women's rights, minorities in general. It's a whole different animal. So far there's been steps forward and backward but hopefully we'll get it ironed out in time. For meow I just watch things unfold and try to treat people with decency and humanity.

My best friend is a trans dude and one of the best MEN that I know. The sweeping generalizations that people make are fucking retarded.

That being said, the first trans friend I ever had was actually just an asshole who couldn't seem to make up their mind as to who they were and was hostile to everyone who couldn't keep up with their constantly shifting identify or wouldn't give them credit as the "biggest minority" out of all of our diverse friends. They only lasted 1 summer with us.

I think a lot of people, trans or not, put too much of their identity into being a MAN or a WOMAN and that's a huge part of the problem because literally like other than for making babies who fucking cares? Are you a fucking asshole or not, that's all that matters to me.



And as far as children go imo hormones and surgery should not be a possible course of action until age 18, which in reality is just the arbitrary government approved age of adulthood, but that's the best we're gonna get. If they regret their decision it's on them, adults fuck shit up all the time.
