I was actually just lamenting last week in a Mayberry thread how damn hard it is to leave my dad's 350 Sierra pickup as bone-stock and humble as he left it. A few basic bitch bolt-ons like a new air intake, headers, cat-back exhaust and throttle body with a tune would transform it into a different street beast but then it'd only be a matter of time before the engine started getting dug into and prepped to handle the boost of a supercharger. <45>

I can appreciate your appreciation of it, for sure. My first vehicle was a 1987 Chevy Silverado 1500 and it was the absolute worst vehicle for the snow in the history of all vehicles. Still have fond memories though.

I say keep that thing clean and original. Those TBI 350 won't make much power unless you dig into them. Keep an eye out for rot behind those chrome fender flares. I had an 04 Z71 so am partial to that style, so dig seeing rust free clean examples of em. Cool truck.
