I know nothing about Michigan. I just read prop 3, current parental consent laws in Michigan, and an article about if/how prop 3 could change parental consent requirements. You should read about it if you’re interested. I’m sure there will be people posting all kinds of shit to get people to vote against the proposition. Seems to be a proposition essentially protecting women's right to an abortion and reproductive healthcare. You can read some details and views of both sides on ballotpedia if you’re lazy

I suppose it depends how far the "sterilization" language goes.
 
One of the most INSANE things I've ever seen. From the national conference of the American Academy of Pediatrics a few days ago, a deranged advocate of the "trans kid" industry glorifies the suicide of a teenager named Leelah Acorn back in 2014, effectively declaring him a martyr for this crazy religion:



She refers to his suicide as bold TWICE. I've never seen anything like this. Have you guys noticed that the people who advocate for drastic medical interventions for "gender identity" in kids all say completely unhinged shit? I guess there's no way to advocate for this without coming off as completely insane, for obvious reasons.

They probably are mentally ill, though, a lot of them. Just like the 'trans' people themselves - the majority of them have got severe mental problems. It would make sense for the advocates / pushers of the movement to be the same.

Sorry, I have little sympathy for this person. it's a mentally dysfunctional human being desperately trying to find comfort and solace 'somewhere' and failing everywhere they turn because they are mentally dysfunctional.

If you're coherent enough to moan to a camera about regretting your decision, you should have been coherent enough to not make that decision in the first place.

Look at her fucking hair, like. Imagine being a reasonably okay looking woman (facially) and deciding that you want to transition to being a balding man. Fucks sake.

I just went to buy some travel books from Waterstones on my lunch and got served by a trans. Nice person, but fuck me. At first I assumed it was a male to female trans, but midway through the interaction I realised it was actually the opposite - it was a female to male trans. Nice person, but fuck me - honestly, I cannot imagine making myself look like that or putting my body through that. His/her skin was mangled with acne, no doubt from the hormones, bumfluff moustache, just a really unfortunate looking person.

If you're belief is that they are mentally dysfunctional wouldn't that produce more sympathy? If you take that starting position, these people have been failed by society and the medical system and in some cases encouraged by professionals to make choices at a young age that are ultimately harmful and disastrous to one's mental and physical health.

That sounds sympathetic to me.
