Except when you cut off funds to feed kids or educate them, then almost half of America will cheer you on, while clutching their Trump Bible.
What's worse? Temporarily blocking federal funds so biological males can't compete against biological girls or permanently chemically castrating children and making them lifelong pharmaceutical customers?
That’s certainly one of the reasons I hate the Right.
Trans people aren’t “going after kids,” spare me that bullshit. I see the right wing doing it a lot: passing laws limiting LGBTQ kids from talking about themselves, their lives, and their families; banning books that could be a resource for them and other minorities; targeting children like we see in Oklahoma, forcing them to read Bibles and teaching them that right wing election conspiracies are fact. That’s who is “going after the children.”
They literally passed laws in some states where the school can hide their kid's transition from their parents. California is a prime example.
Some states and countries literally determine child custody in divorce by how much they "affirm."
The three major banned books (only banned in public school librairies) are "Gender Queer: A Memoir" by Maia Kobabe, "All Boys Aren't Blue" by George M. Johnson, and "This Book is Gay" by Juno Dawson.
All three show sexually explicit content with illustrations depicting sex - including butt sex, sexual experiences with an adult, using Grindr, etc.
Not to mention the worst of them all - giving children puberty blockers and cross sex hormones. All people who do that should be in jail. All those things are "going after kids."
Being trans isn't a mental illness.
A study made in Mexico proves that the transgender is a condition, not a mental disease
In the study, participated researchers from Mexico´s National Institute of Psychiatry, the Specialized Clinic Condesa and Mexico´s National Autonomous University (UNAM).www.gob.mx
Gender dysphoria is listed as a mental disorder under DSM-5.
If it wasn't, then health insurance shouldn't cover anything trans. You can't have it both ways.
