My in-laws built a life together over 30 years married, were going to retire young and travel the world
Morher-in-law was diagnosed with early-onset dementia at 56 and now their life of retirement and traveling the world togethwr is out the window as everyday is nothing short of an exhausting chorre for my father in law and my wife who provide a constant stream of 24 hour care to get through the day.
My wife should have her sister to help bear aome of the burden and duty of care but she’s a new mum with aerious post partum so a lot of the caregiver role has fallen to her.
Not exactly the outcome i think anyone would wish on anyone they love. Truly a tragic thing thats happened to such a wonderful woman and a phenomenal pair im fortunate to call my in-laws,
