Day 2 in Cardiff ( That's in Wales ) ( Which is part of the UK ).

Couple of G1 Transformers. Dunno their names yet .

A rock cake, fucking lush .

A couple of games, single player for when I am solo...
I need to research that burgundy jet that looks like a Harrier as well as that rock cake. First time seeing that jet. I think I had the A-10 Powerglide that may have also had that heat reaction faction symbol sticker.

EDIT: Couldn't find the red Harrier, but apparently there's multiple Transformers Harriers. This site seems to be good for identifying based on color.

I opened my first Gundam Universe, saw it came with "U" crotch snap on piece for use with Bandai Action Base flight stands, but the Action Base I opened didn't have tall enough stick pieces. I might try to buy some 3mm aluminum rods and somehow stick that into some 7mm cylinder piece to stick into the Action Base hole. I earlier tried to buy some Lego Technic pieces to try to get to work with the Action Base, but might need to file down some small ridges then figure out some adapter for cross axle to 3mm peg.

EDIT: Apparently the Action Base seems to have multiple 3mm holes, so I just need to buy some 3mm aluminum rods. If it works, everyone's gonna be flying.

Also, there is such thing as ML disco Dazzler, which I think was in a BAF wave before I started buying ML, so maybe around Warlock wave. I prefer the Silvestri Dazzler drawn by Jim Lee in the trading cards, but the ML of that has a fugly face/head sculpt.

Snap , the original silver costume especially. I have the X men Marvel Legends one on retro card but I wish there was a disco one ....

And my apologies, I know I often mention comics in here but there's such a cross over between the genres I feel it's okay...

Tried for Micronauts toys but nothing available anywhere. Probably for the best , that's not a rabbit hole I really should enter ....
Have you seen the recent Super7 ReAction+ o-ring Micronauts figures? The latest reveals were two diff colored Time Travelers. So far none released that I remember from Marvel Comics X-Men vs Micronauts limited series. Also, I heard from a GI Joe podcast there was a modern Micronauts cartoon where they produced a season but never aired it and it's now on youtube in good quality. I watched Episode 1 only.

Were you one of the people queing to get into Forbidden Planet around 10.30am this morning, when my bus came by? If so, what was the reason for the queing? I was on my way to work (by this morning, I mean Friday).

Not me , I was in Spoons at that time. . Went to The Comic shop in Jacob's Market to collect some 2000ad from Paul in there . On the train home now lighter of wallet and heavier of weight , knowledge , comics and nerd stuff...PXL_20260220_135452532.jpg

I hadn't seen these , I looked at the earlier ones that were the robots reduced in size but rejected them as they were the wrong size.

It's a duo-con I think with the two things together, the jet sits on the tank and they both transform to make the two bits of one robot .

Right , I've gone on about Cardiff enough and bored you . I have to revisit it in a few weeks to collect the comics I couldn't get today .... bloody knee .

I now have to list all the comics I picked up on my travels...

I've been in Toy Hunt Hibernation since Oct - both in person and online.... But yesterday my buddy and my cousin joined me for a LONG day in Milwaukee hitting up a Comic Con, 2 toy stores, a comic book shop, a sports collectable shop and some delicious BBQ for lunch.

Here's some vids others did of 3 of the places:

This was my favorite find:

Flywheels DUOCONS red jet plane SR-36

I may have found the name on eBay. Robot mode legs don't look so good. Cockpit canopy should be painted.

I was watching some youtube reviews of cheap Yamada Chemical octagon display stands and this dude had an Autobot small F-15. I saw another review by kakarot197 and apparently Yamada Chemical makes these very cheap plastic display bases with various expansion sets and some other accessories where you can make a hangar for 1/144 Gunpla, make a catapult runway like in Gundam, and they have some bridge ruins, etc.

I still have display stand fever and looked up what display bases I ordered and apparently I ordered 4x Bandai Action Base 5, which has maybe 12 3mm holes that fit 3mm aluminum rods and work great for Gundam Universe, 1/144 Gunpla, and even SD Cross Silhouette Mazinger Z has a shallow 3mm crotch hole for this display stand standard 3mm peg. I think DBZ figure-rise standard should also work with the 3mm rods. I also ordered but didn't open yet 30 Minute Missions Scene Base 01 which is a hangar setup. They also have colony city, snow, desert, underwater.

I think I heard or read there's going to be a Skybound M.A.S.K. comic ongoing series before long. Matt Tracker and the bad guy already appeared in Skybound GI Joe or Transformers comics. I guess I'll wait for the tradepaperback compilation instead of buying each issue one by one digital or hardcopy.

Lol , if you think that looks bad , you should see Wideload....

images (2).jpeg

Only picked them up as they were G1 and cheap enough for me not to be fussed about them. They've gone in with Twin Twist and Topspin and Hound ( which is probably the nicest I have and complete) .

I would have liked a G1 Jazz , Soundwave, Optimus or one of the others I had as a kid . Toy fair this weekend I'm hopefully visiting....who knows ....

Thundarr the barbarian came out last month.

Not sure I like the artwork, but LOVE seeing this is happening. Highly underrated cartoon from my youth.

The artwork is different inside. They made several covers for the first issue. That one is a throwback to Jack Kirby. Check out the street sign.
