That looks cool, I'm just not a big enough Treekie to justify the price.

How was the build? Any stickers/decals?

You mean " Just how many sets of stickers did they end up reprinting after they got them wrong originally?"

I think it was 3 sets in the end....

I just finished one that somehow, someway I was missing one sticker. Not damaged, not put on the wrong piece, just fucking missing, there is even a spot on the sheet where it was/should be. Boggling.

I really need to put up some more pics of some finished ones I've had complete for a while.

In case you don't know what I'm talking about...

And happy belated 40th birthday to Law Talking Guy from all of us in this thread x

did preorder the Johnny Blaze Rider

Yeah, I had to pop on it too.

My Uncle, (rest his soul) got my older brother, cousin, and myself into comics back in the 70's. He was an every Sunday church-going man and loved it. He also LOVED Ghost Rider. He'd say "That chopper made of fire?!? That's a baaaad ride, man!"

Thanks, Unc. You made my life better.

I like it and may pick it up if the price drops a bit after it's been out a while . I can't justify spending full price on it when I look at the hands and see they're white not black.

That said, I paid full price for for the X factor Jean Grey and I knew the boots were the wrong colour....

Thrifted some vintage Garfield stuffies this weekend. I have a friend that's obsessed with him so I grabbed these and am going to set them aside for when she's having a bad day, I figured they'd be a nice thing to help cheer her up with.

You have Boney M. on vinyl.

I'm super jealous.

Just finished this guy.

Brand: High Godo
Name: Red Armor Robot w/Long Spear Weapons
Pieces: 1662
Cost: $39.74 on Amazon. Got 5% off.
Stand: No
Stickers: None
Missing pieces: None

Going in I had a couple of concerns. I figured it would be really badly top heavy (it is), and that the torso was too narrow to hold the top from falling (it isn't).

This 100% could use a stand. It is VERY top heavy thanks to the wings on the back. They are really well built, but heavy because of it. You have to have everything just right or it will tip over, but once you get it properly adjusted it stands ok.

The spear is solid (minus the very top - it is just needing a better connection to the shaft). It looks really badass though and isn't super heavy like some of them. I really wish this one had the newer hands so it could grip the spear better. The connection point is too central to really give you a good way to hold it two handed.

The legs/feet are very adjustable - in and out - but there is limited movement flexing them.

There are a few spots that like to pop off when moving. I could glue, but it isn't too bad and are easy enough to put back on.

I LOVE the pauldrons and "wings". They have plenty of flexibility and just look great.

I don't hate the orange, but don't love it either. It definitely gives a unique look. The gold and silver pop against the red. There are actually two reds - one flat, one metallic. Made building a little challenging, but the instructions were good letting you know which to use.

The fact there were no stickers was a very welcome surprise.

The head has decent flexibility. Wish the face had a little more definition to it, but otherwise it looks decent.

This is a big boy, with the wings up it's probably about 15" to the tip (she wishes).

There were 34 bags I think, and it was broken down into 6 stages with each stage having 5+ bags. I spread the build out over 3 days.

Overall I think it was well worth getting and I'm happy with how it turned out. I'd say 8.5/10 which would have been higher had it came with a stand.

Now pictures!

Back: Those wings are massive and look so cool. While the shape stays the same, they can be adjusted forward/Backwards and up/down.

Side: The spear looks even better in person. I did make a small modification to the tip to keep it tight together.

Head/face: A little more detail would have been nice (making the eyes a little clearer/defined would have been better).

Looks like next wave of Super7 ReAction+ GI Joe will be Flash, white aloha shirt Chuckles, Dana from October Guard, pink salmon/crab Hydro Viper.

Considering holding out for a colorful shirt Chuckles repaint. Might go for Flash, Chuckles, Hydro Viper. Seems the load outs are more generous than past ReAction+ Joes. Might try to "panel line" Flash's catcher protective gear padding.

Almost finished reading the second Energon GI Joe Skybound compilation. After the third one, not sure if I should buy hardcopy again or go with digital copy and read on the TV via Apple TV from iPad.
