2 things:

Is there a cool action figure of Eric Draven from The Crow? One that won’t cost me a crazy amount, I like figures but not $200 like, yanno?

Also, my Monster High Cupid was supposed to be delivered today but got delayed until the 25th /;< I was looking forward to that waiting at my door when I got home from work. With Black Friday sales I’m considering a couple more dolls.

Big fan of "The Crow"!

I snagged this one earlier and I think you'd like it.

$29.91 on Amazon for their Black Friday deal.

So High Godo came out with some new designs, which is horrible for my bank account. Good for me mental health though!

Brand: High Godo
Name: Long Swords Shields Samurai (they need to work on their names)
Pieces: 695
Stand: Yes
Stickers: About 25
Price: $38.99 on Amazon (got it for 16% off)

What drew me to this one was the colors. That white base with the gold and orange accents really caught my fancy.

Instructions were good with one small issue of putting the wrong bag number for the mini fig.

Build went pretty good except attaching the arms. The double joints at the should kept shifting causing the pauldrons to come apart. Easy fix was building the pauldron after the arms got attached. They are still a little too close to the body, but I'm able to work around it when posing ok.

I didn't think the stand it came with would work very well but it actually is sturdy enough to allow some action poses.

Joints are stiff without being too tight with the exception of the knees. I will say they way they built around the knee joints makes it somewhat easier to bend.

This has the pistons on the ankles and at the torso which I really like, and they have the model type hands which I really prefer.

The shield is kinda cool, and the sword isn't super heavy like some. There's a place to attach it to the back if you wanted to.

I either lost, or was missing one piece but had a replacement in my stash.

Stickers all went on easy enough and there wasn't an obnoxious amount.

This was a solid 8.5/10 and I'm happy with the purchase. A few tweeks (no stickers, replace the knee joints, and change up the shoulders) and this would be closer to a 9/10

Now for the good stuff...

Front - gonna chop a fool in half!

Left side - better look at the shield.

Right side - wing on the hip and a look at the sword.
1000008452.jpg

Cockpit - I like how they give the mini figs some character and accessories.
1000008453.jpg

Head shot - this wasn't a one piece head and I like how it came together.

Action pose!

Well, at least we can see who reviewed the mecha on Amazon, you use Batjester there too....

Damn , you give great reviews, especially when you compare your reviews with what passes for a review by others .

Thanks, and if you ever see the name Batjester - 99% of the time it should be me.

Unless it's offensive.

Then it's 100%

ML '77 Spider-Man can still be bought at Walmart in store. Several copies. Maybe the tariff price is too high for scalpers.

EDWARD SCISSORHANDS Celebrates 35 Years With New Monster High Collectible

Retailing for $70USD, the 10.5-inch doll features a beautiful Monster High take on Edward himself, featuring eleven points of articulation. Along with voluminous black hair and a clockwork-inspired headband to hold it back, the doll wears a black faux leather bodysuit with buckle straps, paired with a sheer, lacy skirt to emulate Edward’s memorable costume. She also comes with knee-high black heels, featuring a few Easter eggs on the heel, and of course, wouldn’t be complete without her titular scissor hands.

The doll also comes with a doll stand to display her on, a certificate of authenticity, and custom fold-out packaging for additional display potential. Fans interested in adding her to their collection will be able to purchase her exclusively on the Mattel Creations website, beginning on December 4 at 9AM PT.

Got given this yesterday by a friend at work. He saw it and thought I would like it ( good shout) . Blind box so I will see what I get ...

In other news, had to go to my mates funeral today. Lots of people wearing Doctor Who or nerdy stuff, I wore a Loony Tunes tie and an Asterix pin. Lots of folks crying , felt so bad for his parents, you're not supposed to bury your children...

RIP Nick . You were a good ' un.

Only thing I've seen for Black Friday is the Lego Pac Man arcade for $189 on Amazon. That's 30% off and a decent deal for that but I'm spoiled. It's almost 2200 pieces, but I can get a couple larger sets for about half that with more pieces in total.
