Amazon as seller has Black Friday TVC Baylon Skoll under $10. Seems like it might be good for head swap into some other character. Didn't really see anything else good that wasn't there days ago.

Right , guys you need to get your fingers out.

There's only 3 days left to buy the Tron Haslab.

We just need another 8,781 backers out of 10,000 . Make it happen!!

This is something that I have that took maybe 10 years to track down. It is a resin statue of a scene by comic book artist Bernie Wrightson. This is a painted version someone posted and it looks killer. I have seen people paint it black and it looks good too but I would love to find someone to airbrush it proper. It was made by Sideshow and is like 16" tall. It is really hard to track originals of this down but Sideshow went all out on this. I actually met Bernie at a con and was surprised he was there. I got a swamp thing poster signed. He died less than a year later from brain cancer. I suspect he was either doing the con for the love of the game or really need money to pay his medical bills. I hope it was the former but it likely was the later. In my opinion, one of the best black and white pen artist ever to grace this planet.

I'm more interested in seeing the future of their new Hasbro375 line which I'm assuming is like modern GI Joe but at 3.75".

Toynewsi had pics of 1/18 scale Conan Boss Fight Hacks and not bad looking, but no bicep swivel but I'm guessing elbow swivel instead. They also had pics of Jada Street Fighter E. Honda that had me wondering if Marvel Legends Kingpin head would fit on E. Honda body...

And just think...

They could've given us the U.S.S. Flagg or a Night-Raven.

2 things:

Is there a cool action figure of Eric Draven from The Crow? One that won’t cost me a crazy amount, I like figures but not $200 like, yanno?

Also, my Monster High Cupid was supposed to be delivered today but got delayed until the 25th /;< I was looking forward to that waiting at my door when I got home from work. With Black Friday sales I’m considering a couple more dolls.

Yes, Mezco made a couple of versions. The 5-points one is limited in articulation but very cheap and still available. Their one 12 figure is a bit harder to find now, and will run over $100 most likely. However it does come with a bunch of accessories and weapons. There's a Hot Toys one too but that's obviously much more expensive. Here's a link to the 5-points one

My guess would be any hope for 1/18 scale GI Joe vehicle (aside from Transformers crossover, if those weren't canceled) would come from Super7 and I think they'd only make what they think would sell enough to be worthwhile.

No idea if the newest Super7 ReAction+ Cobra Commander has soft goods cape, and if so, would be very tempted to buy even though the first Super7 ReAction+ is good enough.

And afterwards went into town and stopped at a toy stall with a local guy who was at the other comic con last week. He still has loads of G1 Transformers , unboxed and no instructions or weapons and bought Topspin and Twin Twist .

And several Alpha Flight comics and a Judge Dredd comic.

Speaking of comics...

"Nov. 21, 2025, 6:13 AM EST
By Patrick Smith
An original copy of the first edition of the first "Superman" comic from 1939 — which had been lying undiscovered in an attic for decades — was sold at auction on Thursday for more than $9 million, thought to be highest price paid for a comic book.

"Superman #1" was described as "the pinnacle of comic collecting" by auction house Heritage Auctions and the finest known copy ever sold, breaking the previous record of $6 million.

The hallowed comic was found in a box in an attic by three brothers in northern California, as they cleared out the house of their mother after her death. The trio have said their mom spoke of having original copies of comic books from the 1930s but couldn't remember where — it was dismissed as a family legend."

It sold for $9.12 Million to be precise.

I think I have Topspin and the transformation is so lazy. I probably shouldn't have bought that.

Is that HIYA toys Judge Dredd? Looks like Looney Tunes style.

Nope , The Hiya toys recent releases are two sizes around 4 or 6 inches and are articulated. They have a few accessories. This is around 12 inches.

The statue is by Dark Horse and has 3 changeable right forearms each holding a version of Dredd's Lawgiver pistol and that's all you can do with it.

The feet and base are magnetic so they hold together like that . Nice way of doing it. The base as you can see is the Dredd badge he wears on his chest.

The Hiya toys are based on several different artists idea of Dredd and then amalgamated by someone.

The Dark Horse statue is based on artist Mike McMahon version of Dredd who had a distinctive style ( actually several as his work evolved) and drew several characters for 2000ad over the years . Not as prolific as he should have been due to illness which is a shame. I see what you mean about the Looney Tunes style . I always think of it as " How does he not break his ankles" when walking style as they are so skinny...

Oh , 100% agree , they're not 'proper' Transformers. Think they only popped up ( pun intended) in the UK comics not the US or cartoons. Limited articulation, just shoulders and the hip where they fold up. One still works, the other doesn't and needs a bit of help. Not in great condition but like that battered black Dinky Starfighter from last week, bought solely for nostalgia purposes....
