What does that make me then....?
If I buy one, say a ML Quicksilver on a retro card he'll stay like that, if I buy another if the price drops then one will come off the card ....
And if I buy a ML box , like Blob then he'll get taken out because I won't destroy the packaging doing that....

But often the exclusive retailers don't behave as if they actually want to sell the exclusive item. I mostly never see the exclusive Walmart ones and often sold out online super fast. It does seem easy to buy zookeeper Prof X as if no one wants it.
Did I see the very first DBZ action figures sold in US of A? The ones where only maybe neck and shoulders move, maybe waist. Good thing I didn't buy more of that line in Japan. The SSJ Goku became super sticky and I eventually bought multiple variations of Dragon Stars and SHF.

Probably still looks better than the Captain America figure with the atrocious expression. I have it and it's sat in the cupboard somewhere, probably to be given away....

Felt somewhat comfortable pre-ordering GIJ CS Budo Deluxe on Amazon due to their price guarantee, but that won't help if they flat out cancel the pre-order and offer it again at higher price, I think. Someone's bound to army build the armored samurais.
I had the V1 Hawk o-ring figure via trade as a kid, but don't really want the big missile launcher definitely not at $79.99. I see the blast effects and think used tampon.
Seems people are guessing HasLab will be Snow Cat. Probably would buy, but no idea where to put Rattler box when it comes. Wouldn't mind Cobra WOLF.

Amazon won't cancel on you. They're too big for shenanigans. Their profit margin is so wide, them eating that is less than pennies.

I vaguely remember Amazon canceled at least one pre-order long ago. Don't remember what it was and I think it was in addition to times it sent me the wrong thing and wouldn't just send me the correct thing because it sold out or price went up. They also in the tracking section gave me the message to contact them for refund because the package was too late or stolen and when I chatted asking for replacement, they refused and said to wait another couple of weeks or something.

I guess things have changed! I pre-ordered the collector's edition of Titanfall 2 and It was like 3 days after it was supposed to arrive. They sent me an email with an activation code for free and then sent me collector's edition when it arrived.

What were they selling him for? The entire FFVII Bring Arts line is rather egregious in terms of pricing and QC. I have most of these, and my god, if there were any other companies making figures of the OG FFVII characters I'd ditch the Bring Arts versions in a heart beat. For the $120-$130 MSRP, you would think that the figures would have amazing articulation and a great spread of accessories. Nope. Square-Enix gonna Square-Enix and fuck their customers up the ass. Almost no accessories, extremely limited articulation that usually results in the figures just straight up falling apart if you try moving the legs, and an obscene price point. They do look nice though as long as you have them in basic standing poses.
I got all of mine from import sites, where they run about $70 per figure plus shipping. $70 is honestly still too expensive though (but still much better than the $130 most US sites sell them for). $40-$50 would be slightly more acceptable.
What makes this whole line really embarrassing is when you compare the quality to something like Jada or the new Storm Arena figures coming out. A $25-$35 figure shouldn't completely outclass a high priced collector's item on almost every front, yet here we are.
