Social Toy Collectors Thread

I've gotten some pieces in for Christmas gifts but I'm not sure the pics will show up. I'll try this weekend.
 
I’ve been having shitload of personal problems this year so forgive me in advance for forgetting but who was the Sherbro in here who was asking if he should keep a toy rather then put it the bundle he would give out to kids? Was probably a year and a half ago. He buys toys year round to give to those in need at Christmas, maybe wasn’t for Christmas, might have that part wrong but regardless
 
Bought Hasbro D&D cartoon Eric the cavalier and GIJ CS Buzzer both half price. Successfully refrained from buying half price retro card Moon Knight due to old tooling and not having read enough Moon Knight comics to appreciate the character.

From the touchscreen, only other half price GIJ CS was Helix, but showed none in stock. Buzzer also showed none in stock as I was holding one copy in hand.

The D&D Hasbro cartoon figures seem really poorly made. Doesn't seem like any leg twist and default angle looks weird. Will probably need to dip in hot water before trying the joints. Nowhere the quality build of Marvel Legends or GIJ CS.

Also saw absolute tons of McF DC cartoon black suit Superman and ML zombie Iron Man which I don't recall seeing on the pegs earlier. Lego aisle looked almost completely empty.

Saw a leaked Target inventory pic showing Super7 o-ring commando Snake Eyes, cartoon Duke, cartoon huge barbarian Duke has to fight, Cover Girl. Depending on how they look, I'll buy Snake Eyes and Duke and maybe huge Barbarian.

Probably me. I picked up 4 Batman related figures, 4 inch or so , Robin , Golden Tiger (?) , Batman and another I don't remember. I put them into the Christmas pile in the end.

Yea, I buy throughout the year when I see something at a good deal . Got 2 things already for next year..

Amongst all the places that collected this year we raised 22,288 toys for underprivileged children for Christmas.

Looks like next year I'm actually going to be organising the whole thing as the lady who normally organises it has been forced to retire from ill health and she's asked me to take over....* laughs maniacally*...

Hopefully you'll be able to sort out your personal problems...

12 week old German Shepherd....okay , we got her a few weeks ago but she is an unexpected Christmas present from my wife.
 
Macys Toys R Us had McF DC including Super Powers 60% off, so Batmobile $12, Page Punchers 3" $4, Invisible Jet was less than Batmobile, Flash 7" Page Punchers wave $10. ReAction GI Joe $12 and they restocked Stormshadow after it got wiped out and no one bought commando Snake Eyes, Destro, or blue & yellow Baroness. Masterverse and MOTU also maybe 50% off. Movie D&D Capt Kirk regular price $25.

Other Macys TRU didn't have anything as good. It's like that one's run by someone who wants it to fail.
 
Finally getting settled and was able to set up my Mark III

The quality is through the roof, the feel and weight of the die cast is what I expected. The suit has surprising flexibility, swapping pieces is incredibly easy thanks to magnets holding a lot of those pieces in place, turning the LED’s on is also the easiest have seen with any of these, especially that it has so many, RDJ’s likeness is uncanny.

Easily my favorite Hot Toy’s piece and well worth the extra spend.

Actually got another one in today. Got the Doom Slayer during a Christmas sale.

Dude is HEFTY as it should be for the Slayer. Some decent accessories, love the detail in it too. A kickass stand would’ve been welcome though. Maybe I can make something.

So I have another Lego set on the way. It is their Technic line Batmobile. Not my favorite version of the Batmobile, but it was a good price and looks rather challenging.
