Goku Imagination Works finally came in today. Put together a quick pose. The articulation on this thing is insane. Love the rubber on the arms, it’s soft enough to move realistically. Lots of customization options with the eyes, heads, hands, etc. very quality figure.

Not sure why Imgur is adding the white strip on the side but I tried uploading it a couple of times and nothing.

Preordered this today. I have a One 12 Michael Myers that I love and I’ve always wanted a quality Predator figure.

Does it feel like the rubbery parts will tear within a few months? That's what they said about Star Wars Hyperreal Darth Vader.

I was browsing yojoe.com maybe 25th anniversary figures and there were some really good sculpts like Gung Ho, Firefly, various Cobra troopers, Torpedo. If those make it to Walmart G.I. Joe Retro, I might not care about refurbishing my originals with rusty back screws with stripped heads.

I have a feeling the Hasbro guys working on Retro have no idea yojoe.com has all sort of pics of various old and recent figures, otherwise they'd re-issue the best ones.

I'm also getting an itch to buy at least one DC Spin Master 4" figure. I'm not seeing as much web coverage of this line like how Hasbro has early leaks and pre-orders of upcoming waves. I peek at them at the store, but never saw any that urged a purchase. The sculpts look crude and aimed at kids or sculpted by rookies, where G.I. Joe Retro Roadblock looks fantastic. I saw a website say the old Kenner Super Powers DC line was 3.75" but I thought they were bigger. I can't find mine, except for Robin.

I don’t get that feeling. It’s thin enough for the movement without any creases but has a supple feel to it. Kinda hard to describe but I can’t imagine it doing that after a few months. I messed with the articulation a decent amount last night and it never felt like the rubber was strained in any way.

My iPad case and iPod case both had some sort of silicone rubber and both basically fell apart. The iPad case is mostly intact, but parts started cracking and separating. This is just from normal indoors use.

The Goku price tag was a bit high for me to gamble. Any word on other characters?

Maybe I’m in the minority but I usually pose mine and leave them for a bit before changing things up so I don’t expect much wear and tear. For my purposes I’m pretty confident it’ll work fine.

I haven’t seen anything on the other characters. Wanted a Vegeta but it was sold out at the time. If I don’t encounter issues with this one I might look into another.

I posted before about my son accumulating a lot of hot wheels and then got him into racing. Just did a test with some wider track with 2 turns. Will add more track to make the wide track straight away a little longer before the first turn and much longer after the first and second turns. Then may get a remote trigger start gate and a electronic timer finish line. Thinking of even making it 3 single lanes to start that turns into a 3 lane fat track, merges down to 2 lane wide track to let 3 cars go at it. Then I would just need to create a portable setup with wood base and maybe PVC pies so I can experiment with different downhill grades/speed. Amateurish, but hopefully my kids will enjoy it as they get older. If I had the space and time I could make something much more epic.

This is at about 0.4x the speed. May eventually get a go pro to record if I ever complete this thing.

Premium metal with metal base too? I think I saw youtubers say the rubber wheels don't go as fast as the plastic ones.

No metal on metal because like you said the rubber wheels make them slow. The real fast metal on metal cars are the OG redlines or something made custom/modded, but I'm not that hardcore to buy those or mod a car. I just buy stuff off the pegs. Would love a sweet track setup one day like 3DBotMaker, but I don't have room for that or artsy enough to make it look as nice.

Have you checked out any of the Hot Wheels I.D. line? I bought a few because they looked really cool.

Not mine, but there's a ton of variants out there.

I saw on a HW fan website Walmart was supposed to carry Hot Wheels id, but I never ever saw any there.

The white Nissan GTR35 was cheap on Amazon around Black Fri.

I got 2 of them, but don't buy them cause they are too expensive. They always have it in stock at the Target near me though. One is slow and the other wouldn't even cracked the top 50 in a 1/4 mile drag. Believe it or not the fastest car I own currently is a Kia, lmao.

Stinger?

Feel like Star Wars collecting is gonna get real crazy with the all the annpuncements and fanfavorite characters getting representation.

Yup. Car got some speed, although one of my fantasy cars can go head to head with it. I only have the blue one, but I heard there is a red and another color that may be out. Haven't seen it yet.

Target today had HW id $2.99, but only saw old junk leftovers from two trays. They also had Jada mini G.I. Joe 3 vehicle pack: VAMP, Snow vehicle, HISS tank, I think. Passed.

Bought my first DC Spin Master: Aquaman 4" with short hair. Has 1st Edition sticker on it. Don't know significance, but I'm opening it soon.

It's almost Xmas and Walmart Star Wars, GI Joe, Marvel Legends pegs are empty or stuck with a few old stale junk.

I'm going to tune in, but expect junk pegwarmers like new characters similar to Snoke, Rey, Jyn Erso.

Slave I demand will probably go up. I heard on podcast the Amazon exclusive one from few yrs ago was as low as $20, but shipped in TVC box with labels stuck on it.

Leaning towards not pre-ordering Star Wars Black Series Archive re-do Thrawn. Doesn't look exciting enough.
